One of my leagues turned into an IDP league and I am freaking out. No idea how to draft. Are there rankings somewhere that will combine all positions (including IDP) for the "ultimate" cheatsheet?

Thanks

Draft Dominator helps.

The simple answer is yes. The more complete answer is no - if you want to make the best decisions, no cheat sheet is going to exist that will do that for you because your decisions will depend on who other teams are taking. If what you want though is a cheat sheet you can just go down, the VBD app can take projections and your scoring system and league setup and produce one. The Draft Dominator can pretty much do the same, though it would at least take more into account like who has been taken.

Hopefully that answers your immediate question, but maybe you'll find the following information useful. IDPs are not impossible to predict, but they are often harder than the skill position players. Depending on how many you use, you may find that there always seem to be guys on waivers doing as well as half the IDPs on people's rosters. If you're only using 6 or less per fantasy team, there is probably going to be a lot of movement, and you probably don't want to make them a priority in your draft unless your scoring system really favors them vs skill position players.

My own experience with IDPS in a league where we have 12 teams each starting 2 DL, 2 LB and 2 DB is that there are about 3-4 players at each position who I'd consider starting somewhere around rounds 8-10 (though I'm still likely to take skill position players instead). After those guys, I'm frequently content with waiting a long time to take my IDPs. I normally identify a few IDPs (often rookies) who I think may do quite well, who I can get very late.

So I wouldn't worry too much. You probably will find that you drop many of the ones you draft and pick up guys from waivers during the season, especially if your league is new to them. I looked at a few years worth of data and only 40% of the IDPs on our rosters were drafted and finished the year without being cut or traded.

Of course, if you use a lot of IDPs, that can change. In my dynasty that starts 11 IDPs per team, there isn't much movement because we've depleted the supply of players pretty well.

You have to measure the rankings with your leagues scoring- many of the stud position players don't score well allowing focus on tackle machines on lousy teams- I got Adrian Wilson for rock bottom last year. I typically dabble in the middle rounds for some of the players that far surpass others at their position (Rodney Harrison in the past, Ray Ray, but usually seek value late in the draft and concentrate on some of the guys coming off injuries whose stats don't draw attention.
