Just something I've observed over the years and not sure if there really is a coorelation or not. It just seems that your "statue"/pocket passer QB's tend to throw picks returned for TD's at a higher % of the overall INT's they throw than more mobile QB's.
Perhaps there in no coorelation at all and my perseption is off target. If it is legit, is it because a scrambling QB has the pocket move out and thus if a pick is thrown there are plenty of linemen and the QB himself that have opportunity to tackle the defender? Perhaps its just because the QB himself is more mobile to make the tackle. Not sure. Any supporting evidence to my theory and observations?
