Is there a record for drops in a game by one team? (1 Viewer)

disclaimer - was rooting for a GB win because we have coaches as a position in our local league and I have McCarthy

maybe it was bounty gate karma or referee karma over the Graham drop ruled a catch and the Sproles fumble ruled down, but I have never seen so many dropped passes in one game

i'm sure many of them will be ruled passes defensed and not punished by giving a drop but at least six times did the saint WR try a basket catch while drifting down field instead of coming back toward the ball and hands-catching it, and that is not even counting the normal drops

my guess is six drops and six that should have been caught but won't be ruled drops and one Graham drop that was not ruled a drop

two not-so-obvious were LMoore drifting to the endzone hoping to chest catch for a TD instead of coming back for the ball and catching it on the 1 ... ditto for Graham although Grahams still wouldve been a TD even coming back and hands catching on a beautiful throw by Brees

gonna watch game again in FF, but I have never felt as sorry for a QB/team as I did

Brees could been well over 500 with a comfortable win

kickers :roflmao:

defenses :roflmao:

lol j/k ... yeah we've tried to vote it out for year's but the commish is a traditionalist

I'm not sure if there is a record or stat kept of it. I do know however that M. Stafford is laughing at the amount of NO drops. Det dropped players dropped about 10 passes yesterday it seemed.
