Is there any teams here that took RB-RB (1 Viewer)

Out of curiosity, did you draft RB's in the first 2 rounds and still stand at 2-0?

If so, who are your WR's?

THanks

LJ then Portis. It was a few weeks before the season started so I assumed LJ would be in camp (though he waited a little long than I expected) and at the time, Portis was going mid second to mid third as there was plenty of time for him to start practicing (over the next couple weeks Portis would slide in most drafts considerably).

Regardless, it's worked out mostly because Romo to TO has been money.

2 redraft league

league one- 1-1, flex position

1st round- henry

2nd round- portis

3rd round- caddy

i did get AP later in the draft

legaue 2- 0-2, no flex

1st round- SJ

2nd round- MDJ

did get portis and jordon later in the draft

yeah, my draft looked like this (12 team PPR). I drafted from the 10 spot. You'll notice that on paper it looks pretty bad (especially in the preseason), but I actually scored the most league points in EACH of the first two weeks. I should mention we start 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 Te, and 1 FLEX.

1. Rudi Johnson

2. MJD

3. TJ Housh

4. Antonio Gates

5. Braylon Edwards

6. Lamont Jordan

7. Tony Romo

8. Brandon Marshall

9. Ravens Def

10. Terry Glenn

11. Demetrius Williams

12. Vikings Defense

(the rest of the players are inconsequential).

Week 1's dominating performance was fueled by Romo, Gates, Jordan, and the Vikings D.

Week 2 was a more balanced victory, helped by Housh, Edwards, Jordan, and Gates.

Thankfully, I've been able to compensate for MJD's lack of production by having good scores at QB, TE, and Defense.

You can't underestimate those TE's and Defenses...

Bush and Maroney at the 12/13 turn and somehow I am 2-0. :sadbanana:

My WRs are TJ Housh, Andre Johnson, Boldin, Curry, and Marshall. I've also got CHI defense, Kellen Winslow, and Big Ben.

My backup RBs are Peterson, Ahman, and Kevin Jones, so my team should be OK at RB.

2-0 and I beat the owner with WR's R. Moss & AJ Houston this week, his rb Benson & LM NE

Drafted

1. Westbrook

2. Henry

3. J. Walker WR

4. Portis

Start 3 WR no TE, I start, B.Edward, Walker, S. Moss

QB Romo

got L.J. Smith and Heath Evans as my TE's

K- Jeff Reed and Stover

D-SD and Picked up Jac off waivers

at qb i got Kitna who i wanted as my #2 as my #1since we have a super flex(any position) and got stuck with Rex and Harrington. there was a huge rush on qb in 1st throug 4th round. i got kitna in the 7th

i am 2-0 so far

PPR league, Redraft. Very, very high scoring.

0-2

My first 4 picks: SJAX, Bush, MJD, and ROY. After the draft I was so over the top with my trash talking, they hated me. Im getting destroyed in both wins and total points. Totally owned, and crying in the corner, type of destroyed. Long season, though...

2-0

Gore

SA

AJ

Harrison

TO

Edit to say: 12 team Dynasty league with 24 man rosters

League 1 (10-Team): 2-0

Addai

Benson

Owens

* More luck than skill the first two weeks; played low scoring teams.

League 2 (12-Team): 2-0

LT

Edge

Ronnie Brown

* Grabbed Ward, Edwards, Galloway with my next three picks.

10 team league, I had 10th and 11th picks

took Addai and Travis Henry- couldn't believe my luck!!

Then in rounds 21-22 I took Steve Smith and Terrell Owens, again wasw amazed they were both there!

Rounded team out with McNabb, Antonio Gates, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, Santonio Holmes.

Then after panic in week one, I grabbed these players off waivers: Derrick Ward, Brandon Jacobs, Kevin Jones, LenDale White.

Except for my QB, Im pretty happy with my team.

Drafting 10th in a 10 team redraft, took Parker/Bush/Benson with my first three picks. Top two WR are Roy Williams and Burress (Braylon Edwards on my bench as #3). We start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex.

Thats my first 5 picks, with the exception of Roy Williams where he took Gates. I also drafted in the 10 spot. Got lucky with a win in the first week (played low score team) and did well last week

:goodposting:

Had the 12 spot, went:

Maroney

Portis

Roy Williams

B. Edwards

R. Brown

McAllister

D. Foster

D. Clark

12 man league....

1. Parker

2. MJD

3. Chad Johnson (couldnt believe it!)

4. AGreem

5. DDriver

6. LJordan

2-0 with two high score weekly winners.

I'm 2-0. Steven Jackson 1.02, traded up to get Travis Henry in the second.

WRs are Steve Smith and Andre Johnson, with Calvin Johnson on the bench.

I'm in a ten team redraft league. standard 6 points for TD's and PPR

start 1qb, 2 backs and 3 WR's, te, k, TD

Drafted in the 9th slot:

1)Parker

2)Chad Johnson

3)Housh

4)Boldin

5) Ahman Green

6) Braylon Edwards

7) Adrian Peterson

Only one other team followed my WR heavy strategy and we're both 2-0

I actually got lucky drafting in my spot b/c if I was in an earlier position I would've ended up with LJ or S Jackson and would be 0-2.

I now realize fantasy is more luck. The guys in my leagues that are 0-2 made the right decisions they just didn't pan out... AS OF YET

drafted from the 11 spot in a WCOFF style redraft league (total points only) and I got the most points thru week 2

Henry

Willis

Walker

Boldin

S.Moss

Kitna

Lamont Jordan

WItten

Ronald Curry

......

10th round onwards:

Wes Welker

Jay Cutler

Akers

Chargers

1. (4) Frank Gore RB

2. (17) Reggie Bush RB

3. (24) Reggie Wayne WR

4. (37) Donald Driver WR

5. (44) Vince Young QB

6. (57) Joey Galloway WR

7. (64) Brandon Jacobs RB

8. (77) Kellen Winslow TE

and Jordan in the 12th

Kinda, does the 2 highest paid in an auction count as 1 and 2?

If so, I paid over $100 each for Reggie Bush and Willie Parker, in a $375 limit, and I'm 4-0 (play 2 games a week).

My whole team right now...

Jake Delhomme

Matt Hasslebeck

Damon Huard

Willie Parker

Reggie Bush

DeShaun Foster (flex)

Correll Buckhalter

Maurice Morris

Darren Sproles

Selvin Young

Steve Smith

Terrell Owens

Randy Moss

Santana Moss

Brandon Jones

Peerless Price

Owen Daniels

Marcus Pollard*

Jason Hanson

Mat Stover*

Bengals

Seahawks*

*You have to have 2 on your roster, league rules.

People didn't think WRs would be as valuable at the draft. And No, it isn't my little sister and grandmother. It's a 10 team division in a 40 team league, and my division has 3 recent champions, 9 players that have been in FF for 10+ years, and one rookie. Right about now I need to trade a good player for some depth.

1. Rudi

2. MJD

3. TO

4. Gates

5. Holt (we drafted when his injury scare was at it's height)

6. Andre Johnson (we play 3 WRs)

So yea, I went RB/RB and I'm 2-0, but it hasn't been the RBs helping me win.

I have no idea how your league works if you have a 40 team league and you have those players.

10 team PPR redraft league.

1st 3 picks were RB/RB/RB -- Bush, Henry, Jacobs

Next 2 picks were WR/WR -- Driver, R. Moss

2-0 and highest scoring team so far (despite Bush).

My other 10 team PPR redraft league

1st 2 picks were RB/RB -- LJ/McGahee

Next pick was WR -- TO

Passed on Moss in early 5th for Hines Ward since I grabbed him in other league and really regretting it now.

2-0 but not the best team in the league.

I'm 0-2 in a league where I took Henry/Portis/TO/Gates (12 teams BTW) Played the high scoring team in week 1 (I was #3), and played the #2 team in week 2 (I was #3 again). That's how it is though, what can you do?

16 team, 2 player-2year keeper league

STAR CITY SOLDIERS (2-0) DRAFT PICKS --

Round -#1 - F. Gore (SF)

#2 - C. Williams (TB)

#3 - A. Boldin (ARI)

#4 - H. Ward (PIT)

KEEPER#5 - M. Colston (NO)

#6 - D. Huard (KC)

KEEPER#7 - M. Leinart (ARI)

#8 - T. Jackson (MIN)

#9 - L. White (TEN)

............................................

#15 - B. Wade (MIN)

My team is in my signature :)

You see a lot of T.O. on teams. If you got him in the third rond he's money. 12TDs at least...heck, he hasn't even been tha involved and he is still a monster.

In PPR, any team that did take Smith at the turn (gravy any time after) has to be rollin. a start of Henry/Smith gave the most hope out of the 12 hole in recent memory. Peterson/Walker on the next turn and that is as good a start as you could ask for....

2-0 in a 10 team IDP league

Gore

Parker - steal

Wayne

Evans - bust (so far)

As usual, its my RB's and IDP that are winning me the matchups.

Si!

I took Gore at 1.4 and Jacobs at 2.7

then I grabbed two WR's

Chad Johnson 3.4

Roy Williams 4.7

next two rounds I grabbed Lamont Jordan (5.6)

and

Donald Driver (6.5)

4 divisions of 10, each with a separate auction.

I'm one and one with Parker and Henry and that's two backs who haven't died the first two games. Carson Palmer will do that.

Henry, Brown, Gates and Evans. 2-0 more because of bad days by the competition than from the stellar performance of my team.
