Is there anything that can sway you one way or the other this week? (1 Viewer)

Are there any players you are keeping a close eye on this weekend since next week most starters won't even play? Are you torn between a couple players in the middle rounds and need to see something specific to sway you into or against a pick in an upcoming draft you have? Do you put any stock into the 1st half of these games at all?

Thanks

Good thread.

Carson Palmer needs to put back-to-back solid performances together to convince me he can be a viable part of QBBC strategy.

Sure I wanted to see who started for Indy at WR last night.

Now who is starting at many positions and where they are used.

Specifically NE running back, Weatherspoon Atl, Harry Douglas, Welker VS Edelman, most marginal players getting starts higher ranked players.

I have some Harry Douglas info. Dan Reeves was on local radio here in Miami and he was asled specifically about Douglas and he said that he would be used primarily in the slot...WR3. I guess Reeves is in the Atlanta front office?I'm sure you know by now but Garcon looked firmly entrnched as the WR2 in Indy last night. Not sure if Collie or Gonzalez is going to be the WR3.

Very nice call.
I think Palmer is a great QB2 but he is taken at the top of that tier. How much over Stafford, Henne, Campbell, Orton, etc...will he finish? Palmer could sneak into the QB1 area if things fell right.
I want to see a little more Calvin Johnson-Matt Stafford. Also would like to see if Stafford establishing confidence with other WRs.

I'm curious to see if Brandon LaFell can distance himself from Dwayne Jarrett for the #2 WR role in Carolina with a productive game this week. I'll also be watching Kareem Huggins to see if he can put the final nail in Derrick Ward's coffin with another impressive performance. Other players I'll be watching include Darrius Heyward-Bey (watching for any discernible evidence of the strides he's supposedly made this offseason), Dez Bryant (will he play? I'm eager to see him finally unleash his ample talent on the field), and Kenny Britt (will he do enough this week to solidify a role for himself in the starting offense in Week 1?).

I'm still not sold on Palmer's arm strength. I hope to see a few longer passes or sharp out patterns to convince me he's near 100%.

I'm always interested on which RBs are getting goal line carries.

I'd like to see more on Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Kevin Kolb and other borderline QB1/QB2 candidates to convince me that it's relatively safe to wait long on QB this year.

Debating between Wayne, Moss, or Austin at 1.8 in my 12 team PPR. Sure, one of them may be gone, but I still have to decide between the others.

Moss and Wayne certainly made their case on Thursday. Unfortunately I draft tomorrow at 5:00 PM, so Austin won't quite get his chance....but I think he's still my pick right now.

Reggie Bush has convinced me to not draft him. On the plus side of things he got a lot of work. On the down side of things I think he has looked awful.
Really? I'm sure you have your reasons, but I must be watching a different player and team. If anything, to me, he's looked healthier than in any of the last two years, and his role appears to be solidified and perhaps even larger in the ground game (and red zone) than many expect/project. Interesting perspective you have. I'd love to hear the "why"..

McFadden and Michael Bush tonight vs the Niners. They could do some real damage to each other's fantasy value, or make a strong separation. Non-fantasy wise I'm looking forward to seeing the Niners' O with Crabtree and Gore for a series.
