Is this "weak"? (1 Viewer)

brohans nothing has changed like my main man steve winwood said i am the same man i used to be take that to the bank bromigos

It's not only weak, but by letting the team play with the bat "until it mattered" he jeopardized the safety of kids. And that makes it borderline criminal.

About 15-20 years ago they developed composite softball bats like the Miken Ultra. They balls flew off the bats and average sized guys like me started hitting 350 foot homeruns. It was fun. Until people started getting killed. Leagues banned the bats, and then players started to paint bats to conceal them. They also started end loading bats illegally by inserting weights in the end cap. I played in a game once again the New England Sports Plex - I was catching - and a guy hit a line drive right off the pitcher's face. They guy never even got his glove in an upward motion. Worst thing I've ever seen.

Illegal bats are illegal for a reason - because they aren't safe. The team deserved to be punished for using an illegal bat, but your coach was a horse's ### for letting it be used until something big happened.
ibtotally agree with the ppst above. in CA you can be charged with a fellony for if another player is hurt with a dirty bat.

listen here mr rational you started this crazy train so do not come in here posting facts that help people figure this out right now we have decided that you are the coach coach and weak and should probably be put in a box and shipped to iran and that the kid that hit the homerun with the illegal bat is some sort of war hero who should be given a medal of honor listen you knew what you were getting in to when you started this thread now live with the consequences and get in the box take that to the bank brohan

:lmao:

It is also kind of a ##### move when you ask for an opinion when your mind has already been made up.
Even more of a #### move to not come back to the thread when the opinion runs against what you had hoped.
Ive been to the thread plenty of times. As I stated before, I wasnt looking for a specific answer, just opinions. I wasnt involved, so I didnt "hope" for anything. I dont need to try to get others to think the same as I do.

So the "coach" is also a rule breaker. He may not be a cheater, but he knew a rule was being broken and did nothing about it. This is especially bad when said rule is in place for the sole purpose of the safety of children.

It's also bad cause he is a chicken #### and didn't think he could beat the other team straight up. He was so chicken #### he felt he needed to put the safety of children in danger to get a little edge at some point int he game.

Would this same chicken #### coach have spoken up had some kid been nailed in the face with a line drive BEFORE he was able to pull his rabbit out of his hat?

It's beyond weak. Weak isn't a strong ( :excited: :excited: ) enough word.

Pfft. In my day, this was settled with plentiful and severe kicks to the nuts. For all. Even the coaches wives were kicked in the nuts. Sportsmanship. We had it.

Man this thread hurts my head.

Was this a USSSA tournament/game? Why didn't the ump check the stamps before the game? We are not allowed to even have anything outside of 1.15bbf stamps on any bat in the dugout. Can't even have them at ALL! At 14 the coach and the kid knew they were cheating. Hell my 10 year olds know which bats legal and illegal.
