Please, PLEASE stop this TOGO nonsense.
I know, everyone knows it's TONGO.
Come on, he's been Gonzo for several decades now. I just hope nobody breaks out the Tgon schtick. Of course, I think this creative combination of the first letter of the first name followed by the first syllable of the last name is reserved for the brothers. BFar, Jkit, BRoth, RProehl, don't sound nearly as cool as JLew, DWill, and TBuck.

I blame JLo for this travesty.

Now that you've retracted your insult of HOF'er Gonzo, we can address your question.

He will play, and will get his catches and yards, even against Tennessee. Keep the expectations low tho, perhaps 5-50, with an outside shot for a TD, but more than likely he'll be held out of the end zone this week.

I'm playing him over Santonio Holmes and Travis Henry, in a TE=WR, multi-FLEX lineup. If I had any confidence in Holmes' ankle, Gonzo would be on my bench this week.

ha, didnt even realize it was an insult, but regardless thanks for the answer, i'm just worried whether he'll be on the field or not, as long as he plays i can deal with his performance, good or bad, but i'd hate to start someone who isn't playing

Gonzalez has missed 2 games in 11 seasons, and the injury is minor.

Conclusion: If he can walk, he plays. The guys has been a warrior for 11 years.

Anyone else wondering if Croyle is starting at QB. Beyond the Oline's sucktitude hampering KC's overall offensive production, Gonzo has great games with Huard at QB and average games with Croyle at QB. Inversely, seems like Croyle really looks to Bowe and Huard rarely does. Is Croyle starting?

Yes, Croyle is starting for the rest of the season. They are going to evaluate him and decide what to do in FA/the draft regarding a QB.

I was just playin dude, it's all good. Look at it this way, he got rolled up on pretty good last week, and KC was gettin their azzes handed to me in Denver. Would have been a great time to call it a bad day, and lick your wounds for the next battle, right? Wrong! Gonzo comes back in, makes a couple more catches (gets me 4 more points!!), and finishes the game. He'll play, don't sweat that.

Tony Gonzalez-TE-Chiefs Dec. 13 - 5:45 pm et

Tony Gonzalez (ankle) returned to a complete practice Thursday.

Gonzalez has missed one game since the 2000 campaign, so a dinged ankle was never going to sideline him even in a disappointing year for the Chiefs.
