Is your local NFL team sold out for Season Tickets already? (1 Viewer)

There are some teams that figure to always have a waiting list like Green Bay and I think the Giants/Bears are teams that never have season tickets available
But the Miami Dolphins went thru a 20 year period of being losers and for a while you could scoop up tickets pretty easy
Already a wait list for season tickets, few single game tickets left if you look around Ticketmaster
My son seems to think it's best to wait until the day of the game to grab tickets.
I am kind of shocked it's May and there are so few legit tickets left for the entire '24 season.

What do you expect to spend on tickets when you attend an NFL game?
Forget food and parking, just the tickets to get in the door, what do you anticipate spending?
The lower bowl at Hard Rock was less than $200 a ticket in the end zone areas a few seasons back, not any more.

Depends greatly on where you want to sit. I don't go to many games so If I go I want solid seats and expect to pay somewhere in the $300-$500 range. That would be for a game in Minnesota (I live in CA).

Generally I would much rather watch the games on TV but for a mini-vacation to got to a game it's ok and I don't mind spending more to make the game more enjoyable.

I've had season tickets for the Eagles since they moved into the Linc in 2003. We only go to a few games a year and subsidize the price of our tickets a bit by selling some of the others. It's also nice to have access to the playoff tickets and I've been there to see them beat ATL, MIN, and SF in the NFC Championship games that otherwise would have cost an arm and a leg. Our seats weren't picked for the SB lotteries though.

If it wasn't for having the season tickets, I don't think I'd pay market prices to go to the games. We're not that close and it's a PITA to get in and out sometimes and the home NFL experience is pretty good with televised games, Red Zone, etc.

The Bills have the cheapest seats in the NFL, I am row 16 behind the end zone on the aisle and I think it is $1200 a seat for seasons.

As you would imagine, they are sold out and have been the last few years.

A lot of Bills fans in sticker shock about seat licences for the new stadium though.

They have been underpaying for premium NFL tickets for years.

$1200 for an end zone seat lower section for all home games for the season?...sign me up, this is a no brainer, I'll send you some money myself just so i can lift the Dolphins tickets off you, don't ever stop buying Bills' season tickets.

-Bucs fans like @Capella can share about the CITS seat deposit back when the Bucs left the Sombrero for RayJay
The Glazers started this trend in the late 90s and owners were jealous and followed suit with as many new stadiums as could be built and still ongoing
Seat deposits are almost auto on new stadiums

The right to buy a ticket

C.I.T.S...Community Investment Tax Stadium is what it stands for

Isn’t the expected waitlist time for the Broncos like 30 years?

Lions have sold out season tickets the last two seasons after having never done so. They also travel really well - some road games they’re louder than the home crowd.
I was like number 48,000 or so, 22 years ago when I joined the Bronco wait-list. I am currently number 8743. I'm not expecting to buy any time soon. Current wait-list is over 87000 according to the Broncos website.

My days of paying for tickets to an NFL (and NBA) are long over.

Not worth it at all for me.

If I get tickets to a Fins or Heat game….they are comped.

Hockey (Panther season ticket holder) and Baseball are the only two major sports I will pay for tickets.

I rarely get down to Marlins games anymore…..just a massive hike. Spring Training is where I get my baseball fix.

living in CO as a KC fan....I can't quite understand this.....since Manning left attendance has been terrible....carried many time by visiting teams....people have been giving away tickets (literally) by week 10 or sooner....why would a team not go ahead and capitalize on their "supposed" waiting list .....instead of bragging about or making a 30 year waitlist seem like some kind of feather in your cap....increase your "season ticket" availability to 10,000 more seats and get rid of your waiting list and take the guaranteed money sitting out there for you....is there some kind of a rule or cap on how many of your seats can be locked down as "season tickets"....do you have to have a certain percentage available for general sale....I'm sure you do....but if you could sell say 70% of your seats (just throwing out a percentage) as season tickets....why wouldn't you...

eta: I'm just using DEN as an example....nott rying to slam on them in particular....this could apply across the league...

I was on the Eagles STH waiting list for 14 years before I got the call to be a STH. I put my name in Andy Reid's first season, I got the call Chip Kelly's first season.

EDIT: Also, to your point about available tickets. STH's can't list their tickets until they've paid for the tickets. So at this point, I can only list some of the tickets that I've paid in full. I still have one more payment on June 20th then I can list my tickets on NFL Ticket Exchange. I would expect, around that time the secondary market for tickets to see an influx.

This is how I got my Eagles Tickets. When they built the new stadium, a bunch of existing season ticket holders refused to pay the SBL fee. They went back to the people that paid for the SBL's and asked if they wanted to add seats.
