could be right over Met Life stadium Wednesday night if the storm track is being accurately predicted over the next several days. It'll be down to a weaker tropical depression by then but the persistent rains and wind could make for tough conditions trying to throw and catch the ball.

Thanks! I was already worried enough about starting Nicks coming off a broken foot, now I have this to worry about?!

Buddy of mine is an assistant trainer at the Meadowlands, spoke to him yesterday about a particular trotter, and he went on to tell me that the coming storm(s) are a concern to those under employ at the whole facility.

The local NYC meteorologists are letting on along the same lines. We had a similar scare last year, right about this time. Tail end of a 'cane blew through on a Saturday, and was pretty nasty, though not as significant as had been forecast.

There should be at least 8 players going that night, FF wise, who may be extremely hampered if this comes to fruition

Thanks for the info guys, I think i will def be sitting Witten now... if the injury wasnt allready enough reason, now this. Guess Tamme will get a start on a non bye week for me this year afterall

As of right now, the NWS forecast discussion is calling for Monday night into Tuesday as far as timing:

NORTHERN STREAM TROUGH DIGS INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS MONDAY WITH THE

OHIO VALLEY SURFACE LOW PHASING WITH THE NORTHERN STREAM LOW NORTH

OF THE GREAT LAKES. MONDAY AFTERNOON SOME INSTABILITY DEVELOPS ALONG

WITH LIFT AND WILL BRING IN CHANCE POPS FROM THE WEST. BEST CHANCES

OF PRECIPITATION WILL BE TUESDAY AS NORTHERN STREAM SHORTWAVE MOVES

THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES AND NORTHEASTERN STATES BRINGING A COLD

FRONT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT. TIMING IS A LITTLE FASTER THAN PREVIOUS

FORECAST. TROPICAL MOISTURE IN THE AREA MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY

WITH PRECIPITABLE WATERS VALES AROUND 2 INCHES AND NEARLY 200

PERCENT OF NORMAL WILL RESULT IN SOME HEAVY RAINFALL. FOR

TEMPERATURES SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY LEANED TOWARD THE GFS

GUIDANCE AND BLENDED SOME OF THE PREVIOUS FORECASTS.
Things could change though, and it's worth keeping an eye on closer to gameday.
