Anyone that doesn't know, FFPC is TE premium, PPR, 1.5 for TEs. 10 starters. 20 man inseason rosters. QRRWWTFSKD Must cut down to 16 by end of March (this is a huge factor in my startup strategy).

eta2* Love your RBs (goes without saying) and WRs and Herndon and Higbee at TE. Butker? He was way up there on a point scoring machine. I really do like this team. McLaurin is the realz. Metcalf will get his. Jefferson and Pittman are two of my faves among rookies. Just real nice.

Yeah I drew the 1.03 and decided to go Barkley instead of Jackson. And then I wanted to test the strategy of waiting on QB. So I took Minshew as my 1st QB in the back of the 8th. I think Minshew has a really bright future, he is young and should hold a moderate value in Superflex. If he takes a step forward this will have been a very solid value pick. I *really* love Big Ben to bounce back for the next 2 years and to perform well for me in my boxscore, and then I actually really appreciate how he can be dropped when he retires. Because cutting down to 16 in FFPC superflex is another level beyond even regular FFPC in terms of how hard it is to develop guys and hold them. Renting Big Ben for a couple years to be competitive now seems awesome to me. Hurts is a lottery ticket. *shrugs*

I worked the phones really, really, really hard to move up to snag McLaurin as my 3rd WR. I am full on head over heels in love with him.

Good on you for McLaurin -- he grades out high and all the secondary things scream "yes" on him. He's only got a season behind him and that violates the one and a half year rule that Player Profiler's Dynasty Guide sets out for establishing true dominance, but I still like the pick.

I like your team.  Looking through the draft I can't say there's much I would have done differently.  I don't love Henry so would have maybe gone Swift there, and would have considered a QB over Metcalf but it's a toss-up.

yeah there was a puff piece (about McLaurin) last preseason talking about how hard he practices and one drill in particular stood out. he would practice having the ball thrown on like the opposite side of a tackling dummy (I think they have robotic ones that can be programmed now, IDK) so he would have to break around it at the last instant to reach out and grab the ball. always setting it up to where he would have to do some odd angled catch. reminded me of dirk novitski practicing weird leaning jumpers and such. anyway i thought he looked amazing for the skins last year. they obviously need to figure some things out there, but i get the feeling this guy will be a star no matter what happens there.

I need a 3rd RB pretty bad. If I'm going to compete now, which I plan to do, I should probably get on that.

There's a handful of decent vet WRs available but I think at this point they would just be roster cloggers.

Boston Scott it is. Again, easy to drop later, probably useful as a rental.

Cutting to 16 in offseason, and keeping 3 QBs (presumably, not necessarily) with a K and D, leaves 11 spots for all of your RBs, WRs, and TEs. That is thin. If all three of my TEs hit, ideally I would trade one of them inseason, and only keep 2. But I *always* end up hitting on value TEs each season and  will end up having to keep 3 because they're hard to move and even though I might move one I'll find another one. So I'll end up keeping 3. That leaves 8 spots for WR and RB. Did I say thin? I can really only see carrying 3 RBs and 5 WRs in such a scenario, with obvious exceptions for when you just have to. But I'd rather have only 3 RBs than only 4 WRs. 

Which is why I waited this long to take a 3rd RB because I probably won't even be keeping them anyway.
