J, Horn passing torch to Stallworth? (1 Viewer)

I've had J. Horn on my dynasty team since he left KC. From what I've read, Horn has had a great camp. Stallworth's injury history seems to be that - history and he played well last year. I wondering where you have these 2 WRs listed. Any feedback is appreciated.

I take Horn six days a week and twice on sunday.

If Stallworth hasn't emerged after four seasons as anything more than a marginal complementary receiver then I don't have high hopes that he will suddenly figure it out.

And he's been in the doghouse all pre-season for not learning the new offense and battling a couple of injuries.

I've been a long time Donte supporter, but I've given up hope now.

Worried about Brees arm, not to mention Bush's presence, Horn healthy and he's not in NO's long-term plans.....which means he could get benched/suspended at any time.

I've heard lots of conflicting thoughts on Stallworth. He finished last year with respectable numbers (and better than Horn) and I think most rankings projected him to be the top WR in New Orleans this year. Then I read a couple weeks ago that the new coaching staff was fed up with him and he may not even make the team. Then he starts this past Monsday but now I read rumors he could be traded to Minnesota or elsewhere. All in all, not a big deal. I most likely will just stay away from him. But it would be nice to have a better idea of what's going on with his situation.

I'm hoping Mike Hass gets a legit shot at playing. He flat out catches the ball versus Mr. Drops Stallworth

Stallworth will have better numbers this year. He's underrated right now.

For all of the criticism he receives, his numbers have been steadily improving the last few years.

For those who owned Stallworth last year, you guys know what i am saying, For basically every great game he had last year he followed it up with a stinker, so i never got to play him for a good game!

horn's not going anywhere. stallworth would have to have a breakout season, equal or surpassing joe horn before Horn considered "passing the torch". don't count on that happening...

You've got a 26-year old WR who over the course of four years in the league has slowly but steadily improved every year but for an injury filled 2003. I don't know about this passing the torch stuff, but he's certainly a good guy to have on your roster in a large league.

This thread is actually a great indication of why he is undervalued. Most, if not all, of the negative responses are in spite or ignorance.

Conversely, the better information is coming from those with facts, and of no coincidence, posters who consistently know more than the rest.

PERFECT. I'll take him.

Horn was on NFL Network a couple of weeks ago. When asked about the WR corp., he basically said that stallworth and devery henderson were batttling for the #2 job FWIW...
