J. Norwood's Coming Out Party! (1 Viewer)

Here it comes....

A Saints 5 minute FG drive followed by Norwood's pity 5 catches for 44 yards on the last drive.

This is what I am sweating out right now. I'm up 4 in a ppr facing him. So far, so good... but I dread the dump offs that may be coming.

At this point, I am down by exactly a 1 yard rushing Touchdown fo the tie, but I would have the tiebreaker and the win.

What are the odds Redman can get the ball back and drive down to the one and they give the ball to Norwood for a 1 yard TD?

I'm officially holding my breath.

My theory is he really wants Brohm in the 2008 Draft and there is a glut of 3 win teams jockeying for draft position.

I do think it's rather amusing that in 50% of Norwood's touches he gained 10 yards or more (including two rushing attempts negated by penalty). Given that, I can certainly see why Petrino wouldn't want to give him the ball more. Why give it to a player who's actually producing big plays? Perfectly reasonable coaching approach in my opinion.

In week 17, Norwood will run the ball 22 times for 270 yards and 4 touchdowns, as anguished and bitter former FF owners watch. Petrino will say, "Wow, looks like we've got ourselves a RB!" Dunn will not retire, but Petrino will tell everyone in the spring and summer that Norwood is now the main guy. Norwood will be a bordeline top 20 RB in FF drafts; some people will take him as high as 12. Then, in week 1, Dunn will get 75% of the carries, and this will continue throughout the rest of the year...
