Jamaal Charles Thread: Hall of Famer? (1 Viewer)

35 yards. Who's got it better than Charles owners? Can't wait for the playoffs.

Just hoping Julius stays out so I can keep starting Kelce, too.

Hard to do much when his team has the ball only 13 minutes through the first three quarters and only 66 yards of total offense.

Would love to see Charles on a legitimate offense. It's amazing the success he is able to have there. Hilarious people legitimately argued that McCoy was a better back

Jamaal Charles played through a bruised knee in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
According to coach Andy Reid, Charles has "some swelling," but "should be fine." This is apparently Reid's excuse for getting his best player just 14 touches against the Broncos. Charles has a tough Week 14 matchup in the Cardinals, but matchups haven't mattered for Charles this season. Dec 1 - 1:12 PM

Anyone concerned here?

Reid has been using him sparingly, now his knee is bruised and was swelling, and he has a matchup against the #1 run defense (giving up the least points FF wise).

Of course you never bench your studs blah blah blah. But people who have other decent options (say you have a Crowell or someone like that who has been riding your pine because you can’t fit them in your lineup) are you considering the pine for Charles?

Easy there.... Nobody said anything about anyone being dumb. CJ is a must start, even over Charles. Not so sure about Crowell over Charles, but have at it!

If you're in the playoffs or on the cusp of the playoffs (depending on league setup), you can't possibly bench Charles.
What if you had CJ Andersin and Crowell plus Charles and can only use two? I couldn't possibly be dumb enough to bench him could I?
Week 15, 2013 vs. Raiders. He single-handedly punched countless fantasy teams' tickets into the title game. Let us not forget.

I scored the most points I had all year and still lost due to that performance. I will never forget it. But was he coming off a bruised/swollen knee?

No, but he already had 240 carries on him...

Don't remind me. I went through the five stages of grief with each TD that ended my #1 seeded team.

I do not do the Twitter thing like most young kids these days but hopefully this is a good sign that all is well with the knee:

@jcharles25:

I'm in love with the game of football! I love Jesus! I'm loving life right now! Feeling blessed!

Cards look like a bad match up, but you never know. The game script likely will allow JC to stay in the running game and keep Andy Reid from going pass crazy. Action Jackson ran for 100 on them last Sunday so anything can happen. I'm not benching him for anything.

I'm expecting the classic Andy makeup overreaction. Charles will get 30 touches this Sunday. Come hell or high water Andy will feed him the ball to prove he's not one dimensional.

nope. Id bench crowell

I need a string of games from him like the end of last year to have any hope but it's just not happening. I'm actually a little disappointed on how the season has ended. No huge games

Going against the Minn D today. So, it would be great if Charles conjured up an Oak 13' performance today.

I can't believe it, but he looks alright. From one angle it looked like his leg didn't really bend in any weird ways. He got bent backwards which looked ugly but his knee stayed facing in the right direction the whole time.
