Jamal Lewis (1 Viewer)

Anyone think Jamal can Jamal can hit the 1200 yard mark and maybe 8-10 Tds. It really seems since the firing of the OC that Billeck is relying on Lewis to save his job.

Jamals remaining schedule:

@Ten.

ATL.

Pit.

@Cincy

@KC

Clev.

@Pit.

Buf.

Jamal has 533 now and all he needs is to average just over 80 yards a game to reach the 1200.

I had to play Jamal this past week, and am happy with the td and all...BUT, from what I saw of him on Sunday - the guy is flat out awful. 2 yards and a cloud of dust. I really want to think that he can be productive, but I don't see it happening. I am trying to leverage his past 2 weeks as some way of trading him - I doubt his value will go any higher.

What Ive been looking at his Jamals carries compared to Anderson and Smiths. In the begining of year Jamal was getting around 15 while the back ups got about 15 combined, but now it seems Jamal is getting around 25 while the back ups mabe 7 combined.

Unless a Raven falls down on the 2 yardline he doesnt have a prayer at a TD. His yardage is OK purely because of the sheer quantity of carries, but at some point it stands to reason Baltimore will want more our of their running game than a couple yards a carry. And lets not forget Lewis hasnt been the healthiest guy in the game. 200+ carries over the next 8 weeks seems like a recipe for injury, and for those expecting him to get stronger as the season progresses and his carries increase, i recommend watching him play.

Unfortunataly I dont have Sunday ticket so I dont get to watch Lewis play often, but the one game I did see him I didnt like the way I seen him dancing around instead of hitting the holes hard. Is he still playing like that?

And I will have Sunday Ticket next year.

Exactly he looked pretty good carrying the ball this week. He made holes where there were none and he got minimal yardage when there was no room on some carries. He had a couple long runs of 8 to 9 yards and was breaking tackles. The other thing I liked is they actually were throwing him the ball. I will take 1100 and 7-9 td's as I projected to be.

I actually thought he looked pretty good this past week.
I watched the game last week and thought he looked much improved. So did the commenators covering the game. One (Dan Dierdorf?... can't remember) mentioned that it looked like the bye week clearly did Jamal some good and that he looked the best last week he has looked all last season.Hey as a Jamal owner in two dynasty leagues, I can at least hope....

Spot start him against the Bengals, Browns etc of the world. He will easily get 80+ yards in those games (especially the Browns since the Ravens D will shut the Browns O down and make it a snooze fest where Billick will keep running)

He has a good matchup against Ten this weekend again.

Billick fired Fassel & will take over the play calling. He might feel they need to end the semi RBBC they've been running all year and just feed the ball to Lewis.
I thought when Billick fired Fassell, he would ditch the RBBC & just go back to feeding Lewis the ball. If you stuck with Lewis, he looks good to go from here on out IMO.
Fassell getting fired was the best thing to happen to Lewis. Barring injury he should make for a decent #2 from now on.Nice matchup this weekend too. :thumbup:

The loser will need another 300 carries to reach 1200 yards.
:lmao: You can always count on lod2005 for a good Jamal rip. Who is the other guy you cut on? Is it Rex Grossman? I know there are atleast two guys that you go out of your way to blast. :banned:

lod2005 rips on lots of people, not just Lewis & Grossman.lod2005 on David Carr
He'll be benched. I've said he sucks for years now and the excuses have dried up. The loser's best play is drop back and haul ### towards the sidelines. It's over for this loser.
lod2005 on Vince Young
Vince Young blows. Always has always will.
lod2005 on Byron Leftwich
F YOU leftwich, you pile of garbage.
lod2005 on Edgerrin James
I unloaded his twin brother Jamal 'ZERO' Lewis for a 2008 2nd rounder. I would just cut this useless turdpile if I had him. He got his $ and he runs like a washed up bum
lod2005 on LaMont Jordan
A fat slow bum with no power or vision. Plus he's stupid.
lod2005 on Reche Caldwell
No reason for Caldwell to be on the field anymore. He should be replaced.
lod2005 on Ted Thompson
Bravo Ted Thompson. You are really a hack.What a loser.
lod2005 on Michael Vick
lod2005 on Gene Upshaw
Upshaw is a hack who was in way over his head and failed miserably at negotiating.

Clown Shoes Porter. You guys missed that one. Trading that POS landed me possibly the #1 overall pick in 2007. Definately top 3. :thumbup:
