I know....who?

For seven seasons (1988 to 1994), he played at the free-safety and strong-safety positions in the National Football League with the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants. Born Jarvis Eric Williams, he attended Palatka High School (Florida) and played collegiate football at the University of Florida. While with the Gators, he achieved all-SEC honors twice and All-American recognition. He was selected by Miami during the 2nd round of the 1988 NFL Draft, and appeared in 104 career regular season games, recording 16 interceptions for 226 yards with 1 touchdown. During his years with the Dolphins, Williams teamed with Louis Oliver to form one of the most formidable secondaries in the NFL, from 1989 until 1993. He was named to the University of Florida's All-Century Team in 1999, and was inducted into their Athletics Hall of Fame in 2001. He died from an acute asthma attack at age 45.
