Jason Campbell scoring question? (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I lost my game by 0.1 points. Today I see they revised Campbell to show no fumble so I am listed as winning my game. NFL.com shows Campbell with a fumble still but espn.com shows no fumble. Anybody watching the game no the answer?

Box score lists 4 lost fumbles by Washington, but play-by-play only lists 3:

So, it looks like Campbell was mistakenly given credit for a lost fumble, even though his teammate recovered it. The Gamebook credits Campbell with a fumble but NOT a lost fumble.

Thanks for the thorough response. I read into it some more on a search topic on google and it appears Cambell was close to multiple fumbles. You showed the one where Randel El recovered it. He also had another one that his offensive lineman caught a batted down pass but then proceeded to fumble it away to the Rams. The one fumble that was credited to Rabach has me worried because it was a case where the center (Rabach) had a bad snap in shotgun formation. I thought the QB always got the fumble no matter if their is a bad shotgun snap or not. I hope I'm wrong.

Worry no more -- a rule change for 2008 says that a muffed snap is now considered a lateral. Since Campbell never had possession of the lateral, Rabach is charged with a fumble.
