He started week 8 (Week 9 bye) and had a good game. 7 solos/1 assist/1 sack. With Barton out for the season along with DQwell, is he a lock to start and what is expected? Also, anyone know anything else on him?

He only played 30 snaps against the Bears as the Bears ran a lot of 3 receiver sets and it looks like he comes out of nickel packages (just from looking at our player participation http://www.profootballfocus.com/pstats.php?gameid=1499)
Against the 49ers a lot will depend on how the Browns tackle the two tight end set that the 49ers run near exclusively, even on some obvious passing situations. If they counter it with their base defence, I'd expect to see Trusnik's snap count go up, especially if David Bowens becomes an ILB in place of Barton.
Judging from Bowens game against the Bears he isn't going to be a tackle grabbing ILB and someone is going to have to bring Frank Gore down so why not Trusnik?
I think he's a limited player (talent wise) but he's playing in a team where he won't get overshadowed, in a linebacker group that isn't great, so the opportunity for him to stat rack is there.

Lol. I have no idea why I thought they were playing the 49ers. Maybe on account of the Bears sucking I mistook them for the Browns. Thats all I can think of.
