Yes. Just talk for now but could easily happen if Vick is going to miss a while. Garcia would be a logical backup right now. Smart guy and knows the system.J

I don't think Garcia would go there to be a backup for a week or a few weeks, and then Vick comes back and Garcia would be 3rd string. Didn't the Eagles rumors about bringing in Garcia happen before in the last year or two and Garcia wasn't interested. Garcia starts for Omaha. I don't think he'd go to Philly.

Garcia said on NFL network that he would finish out his UFL contract, even if an NFL team asked him to play. He was pretty ticked off that some QB were starting and he couldnt find work. He SPECIFICALLY mentioned Buffalo and San Fran.

Exactly, I know that I'm excited about the UFL possibly being a AAA type league for the NFL, but Garcia has been excellent. Two consecutive weeks of pulling out late wins with big passes. He's in game shape.Mr. Know-It-All said:

Players like Garcia (and Ahman Green) get an additional weekly bonus of about $25K on top of their 65K yearly salary. It's not a NFL starter type amount of money, but it is comparable to league min. money (so says the OWH) and he doesn't have to worry about getting cut the second Vick takes a snap.Wooderson said:

The earlier quote about salary was also wrong the max contract in the UFL which Garcia among others have is for $200K for the UFL season.
