I agree with this. I think Driver will get the most targets. But, Jennings will get the deep balls. As the season goes on defenses will need to spend more time covering Jennings and that should open it up for Driver a little bit more.Dead tie. Driver more receptions, Jennings more YPC.
Me too. Ongoing question for me will be.....who starts? It was an easy call last week with Driver's rib issue. Not so sure going forward.I've got both.![]()
Instead of fantasy players being 'fickled' about players, there is no way anyone should trade Driver straight up for Jennings. Jennings is a rookie that is at his peak as far as fantasy value goes, I'm sorry, don't even come close to buying the arguement that he will just get better, not true, he doesn't have much room to get better. Driver is suffering through rib injuries that will likely be cleared up after the bye. Driver is easily the better fantasy player, you can't judge everything on the last 2 weeks of the season. As a Driver owner, I would trade him straight up for Jennings...in a heartbeat.
I think they both hold good value going forward, but in PPR I feel Driver is clearly the better play. In non-PPR, its a toss up probably. IMO, people are getting too down on Driver while he's been banged up and too high on Jennings since he's been the primary beneficiary of Driver not being fully healthy. Jennings has looked incredible for a rookie (or vet for that matter), but the hype is growing a bit fast for me... and Driver will probably be overlooked yet again. Dynasty owners that drafted Jennings should definitely be stoked and feel that they made a great selection to help their team this year and forward. That said, I don't think the last couple of weeks for GB should be used as an indicator of what kind of numbers Jennings and Driver will post the rest of the year.
