Jennings or Driver going forward? (1 Viewer)

There is a debate raging between two owners in my league about whether Driver or Jennings will have the most fantasy points from here on out this season. I was wondering what the consensus here is. Any thoughts on this?

Dead tie. Driver more receptions, Jennings more YPC.
I agree with this. I think Driver will get the most targets. But, Jennings will get the deep balls. As the season goes on defenses will need to spend more time covering Jennings and that should open it up for Driver a little bit more.

As a Jennings owner, I would not trade him for Driver.

Driver has a way of proving people wrong, and I can definitely see a dead split happening.

No way would I trade Jennings for Driver. PPG aisn't a perfect gauge at this point, but it means more than my opinion or gut.

got Jennings in my dynasty league and thinking of keeping him over Branch and Mark Clayton at season's end. He's looking insanely good for 1st year. I thought WR's had that awakening in year 3?

Driver is Favres possession/goto guy and will get the bulk of the targets .. Jennings is the deep threat who will see more single coverage and will get the big plays for the Pack ... In PPR leagues I think by year end Jennings will be the higher ranked ... but not by much ... in Dynasty Jennings would be the better play

That's my story and I'm stickin' with it!

:bag:

Got Jennings and he being so good made me ship off Reggie wayne (i got back Reggie Williams and T.Jones for him) then i moved Williams and Berrian for TO. and now i traded.....for AJ.

But i like Jennings alot though. I have him 3rd in my pecking order. With Harrison AJ Jennings TO and Ward.

While you can't go wrong with either -- GB is still passing a lot and Favre is playing reasonably well -- Driver is the better pick here.

Driver is top 5 in targets even after this past week. He had a few opps in the Eagles game to have some sick stats, but couldn't pull it out. If he didn't mess those up he'd certainly be in the running for a top 10-12 finish in pts. not to mention, even better in a PPR league.

Jennings has been getting plenty of looks too, and is certainly a deep threat. The problem is that DD is just the go-to guy. Quick throws for first downs, TDs and most other throws are going to DD.

Both have value, I just think DD has mucho more.

As a Driver owner, I would trade him straight up for Jennings...in a heartbeat.
Instead of fantasy players being 'fickled' about players, there is no way anyone should trade Driver straight up for Jennings. Jennings is a rookie that is at his peak as far as fantasy value goes, I'm sorry, don't even come close to buying the arguement that he will just get better, not true, he doesn't have much room to get better. Driver is suffering through rib injuries that will likely be cleared up after the bye. Driver is easily the better fantasy player, you can't judge everything on the last 2 weeks of the season.

In PPR leagues, it's probably a coin toss, maybe a slight edge to Driver. In my league, we get bonus points for long TDs, but no PPR, making Jennings more valuable.

I think they both hold good value going forward, but in PPR I feel Driver is clearly the better play. In non-PPR, its a toss up probably. IMO, people are getting too down on Driver while he's been banged up and too high on Jennings since he's been the primary beneficiary of Driver not being fully healthy.

Jennings has looked incredible for a rookie (or vet for that matter), but the hype is growing a bit fast for me... and Driver will probably be overlooked yet again.

Dynasty owners that drafted Jennings should definitely be stoked and feel that they made a great selection to help their team this year and forward. That said, I don't think the last couple of weeks for GB should be used as an indicator of what kind of numbers Jennings and Driver will post the rest of the year.

:goodposting: Jennings looks like a real nice long-term prospect and should also finish with some great offensive numbers for a rookie WR. I think Driver if healthy is the guy this year though going forward.
