Jennings or Jones (1 Viewer)

Jennings is finally getting healthy, but Jones is looking pretty solid. Favre is all about trust and while Driver is his guy (witnessed by his celebration on the record breaker) and he seems to actually be comfortable with both of them. Does anyone see either of rising above the other or being pretty even by end of the season. (barring Jennings' usual injury issues)

I don't think it matters. Being the #2 or 3 with Favre won't make much of a difference. He'll throw to both and both can make plays when healthy. I do like Jones a little better.

Jennings for sure when he is healthy. I own Jones in every league and Jennings in none, so I wish that were not the case, but Favre likes Jennings, and going into the season Jennings was #2. I don't see that changing barring injury.

:JonesOwner:

In case no one was watching, Jones had a catch that would have put the Pack up 28-24 that he caught on his butt on the 1 foot line, but couldnt far into the endzone. (Instead the Pack missed on 4th and 1)

That would have skewed the stats differently.

I'm more of a fan and don't really have any fantasy interest:

When Jennings is healthy and in the lineup, he just makes plays - big plays. I like Jones a lot and I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up with more catches, but I think Jennings is better than Jones after the catch and thus a bigger threat to take it to the ez.

That was one of my reasons for asking. Jones played a solid game (9 targets/79 yds) while had two less targets and gained 57 yds of his 82 on the SportCenter highlight clip.

This is going to alternate week by week. Jennings is the 3rd option in Brett's progressions when Jones is on the field, but he is also the #2WR with Driver so he gets more plays (being in the 2 WR sets). Both should be seen as fair bye week replacements, and borderline WR3s in competitive 12 teamers or bigger. Good luck deciding when to start either though. I own both in one league, Jennings in another and Jones in another... so I'm not biased but a season of GB shootouts would be welcome.
