Bonita Springs girl won?!??!

Sweet.
She sounds like a good kid...

She plans to major in biomedical engineering when she goes to college next year.

She wants to use her cash prize to help pay for her education.

“I love STEM, especially engineering, and I love being able to combine my passions in order to help people in my STEM4students program,” she said. “I’m planning to donate to the Guadalupe Center in Immokalee, Fla., the organization that hosts our program, as well as to STEM4Students proper, so we can keep STEM education growing in my community.”

Didn't catch that either. From The Runaways wiki page:

Jackie Fox[edit]

Main article: Jackie Fox

Fox returned to using her birth name of ***hs and graduated from UCLA summa cum laude, with a B.A. in Linguistics and Italian, and received her J.D. from Harvard becoming a lawyer, focusing on entertainment.[18] She co-wrote "Delilah's Scissors" with Tischler-Blue and executive-produced and appeared in Edgeplay, Tischler-Blue's 2005 documentary about the Runaways.[5] She also writes an L.A. cat care column for Examiner.com[19] and is an occasional contributor to Listverse.com.[20] She has a popular website and blog at www.myspace.com/jackiefuchs and was the first guest blogger for the Environmental Working Group’s Pets for the Environment website. She is the author of The Well, an unpublished work of young adult historical fiction, and is currently working on her second novel.[21]

In July 2015, after Fowley's death, Fox revealed publicly that she was raped by Fowley on New Year’s Eve 1975 at an after-party following a Runaways performance at an Orange County club. Sixteen years old at the time, Fox was reportedly given Quaaludes by a man who she thought was a roadie, and while she was incapacitated, Fowley raped her. Currie stated that she spoke up against Fowley's actions, then stormed out of the room when he refused to stop.[22][23]

Glad to see Dave, the pompous ###, go down in flames after whiffs on his daily double question and bets it all right away in double jeopardy and not even make final jeopardy.

well deserved

:lmao:

I don't know about him being pompous, but that seemed like a really unfortunate outing for him. He seemed like a good player trying to ring in on nearly everything but not being able to do so, then missed the daily double and probably got a little frustrated.

I like the idea.

But I hope that we get to see full games every day. Hopefully yesterday was only a partial because they had to explain all of the rules and the draft.

I was amazed that Julia missed the European Artists question last night, especially after she said that it was a very good category for her.

I got it right immediately at home and I would likely miss 70-80% of the questions in that category.

It was a toss-up for me, either the right answer or Julia's answer. 50/50 guess. Not sure if I quite understand how to "logic" that one out given just the info in the clue and already knowing their actual last names. I guess if I knew more foreign languages it would make sense.
The river must flow from the Alps to the North Sea.  No river in Italy is going to do that.  The artist needs to come from that area of Europe.

I understand the desire to stretch this out, but watching it has given me a stroke.  The set is too bright and colourful, I don't know who is on what team for what game, they don't show scores from prior teams or games to follow the wildcard.  IMO, the best players are Matt, Alex, Ken, Brad and Roger.

Hard to believe none of the 3 came up with Ike in 1952. I almost made the same mistake as the guy who was at least close with 1956.

i understand everyone wants to play, but having ken do anything but play double is a waste, though matt is pretty awesome.  sadly, they are gonna waste one of the two tomorrow on final.  play girl 1, ken 2, matt 3.
