I like his style.  He was visibly nervous at being pushed, but clutch at the same time (including a big Daily Double) and going for the win.

What made it even more stressful rooting for him tonight was the fact that I found the challenger incredibly annoying.  With that DD referring to "someone who's cheerful to the point of being irritating," I almost wished he didn't know it and answered with, "What is Nicolle?"

They changed the rule because Arthur Chu played for a tie a bunch of times and it annoyed them. (Messes with their logistics. They film 10 episodes per week (over 2 days) and bring in just enough contestants that they need, plus one (in case anyone is determined at the last minute to not meet eligibility requirements). Each time there was a tie, that was one less person who got to play on that cycle, which meant they had to be brought back for the next cycle.)
