Kathryn Bigelow was the only answer I knew and ti wasn't because she once made a hillbilly vampire film (wait - that's a subgenre?)

Yesterday was one of the weakest Tournament of Champions episodes I've ever seen. The high score heading into Final Jeopardy was just $7,200. One lady missed an easy Daily Double answer of Dunkirk. Sometimes the categories and questions are unusually tough, but not last night. I thought most were much easier than average for a TOC game.
Then there was the Palindromic Dates Final where they were on the right track but none of them could give an actual palindrome as the answer.

Funny timing with the Famous Structures question last night.

After seeing last night's final on Chart Toppers that all the contestants missed, I still wonder why Jeopardy is asking so many Rap questions? Are they trying to appeal to the younger set? Do they really think that rappers are suddenly going to start watching Jeopardy?
Frankly I'm tired of the many questions regarding this type of crap that barely qualifies as music.
I complained about this last year so this trend has been going on for a while.

The contestants under 30 -- and there are a lot of them -- probably know a lot more about rap than they do about our demographic's music.

Sometimes there's a triple stumper about classic rock or sports from the '80s or before and I'll say "they're all too young for that."
