Time to update the signature, in with Greg Olsen, out with Stevens. That's 2 of my 3 2007 1st round picks.

My question is How drunk and High was he(if at all) . He has not been convicted of anything. You guys always jump to conclusion. If its in the paper or on the Internet it must be true! Come on innocent until proven guilty right? This is still America Right? The Police are so corrupt I don't trust them at all. And to top it all off the steal his blood.

Stevens was charged with drunk driving in Seattle in the Seattle area in 2003 after police found two half-empty champagne bottles on the floor of his vehicle during a traffic stop.

In 2001, while playing at the University of Washington, Stevens was charged with hit-and-run after he crashed his car into a Seattle retirement home.

:banned:

In 2000, he was accused of drugging and raping a 19-year-old girl at the university. The charges were dropped.

:banned:

Stevens' other past run-ins with police include a 1998 incident in which he broke a man's jaw with a baseball bat.

DAMN! Dude should be locked up.

The police framed him......each and every time.

Im a slow ...

Just to clarify, though, this guy is not a cancer like Owens, which is why nobody talked about Seattle having him. Makes a ton of sense, seriously.

WTF, Marvin has what to do with this?

Oh yeah, nothing.
Stevens would fit in with the other Bengal criminals. That was the point.
And my point is that there should be a scoreboard for this year as all the other 'holier than thou' teams go through their own problems.
Actually, profootballtalk.com has such a thing called its "turd watch"
LinkyTennessee and Jacksonville are off to a big start. The Steelers seem to be gaining on my Bengals. Pac-Man pretty much is looking like a tough beat for league MVP (Most Violations: Player).

The speed with which the Cardinals dispatched Anderson shows the contrast b/w how it's dealt with for a player vs. coach - no salary cap implications for a coach getting let go.

I could see hitting a PhotoMat in a moment of distraction, but a friggin' retirement home? What else has he crashed his car into? Wyoming?

Anyone who is surprised, raise your hand.
 When Stevens was originally drafted ESPN had Mike Tirico read off a list of his transgressions...I remember cringing at how long it took him to read the entire list. This incident will hurt him more than all of the other incidents combined because he isn't going to get another chance to get a big-time free agency contract. Teams were already leery but this sealed the deal. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I have to admire his planning though. He obviously was double fisting alcohol and pot because he figured he might well drop one. Good call guy!

:wall: WTF are you talking about?
Turdwatch Scoreboard is Bengals 5, Steelers 3All 5 points are from last year now.

This is BS. Deshea Townsend and some other player on the practice aquad that hasn't played a down for the Steelers were charged with simple assault under very dubious circumstances. Neither have been convicted, entered a plea of no contest, or had entry into a diversion program. Calling them "turds" at this point only shows how crappy PFT is.And saying the Steelers are anywhere close to the Bengals in regards to shady characters is laughable.

I can forgive him crashing into a retirement home, but this is unforgivable. Opening the second bottle while there's still booze in the first? Lock him up!

Just an update to QuizGuy's Turdwatch. All charges were dropped against Steelers CB Deshea Townsend when four eyewitnesses testified that he was not involved in the fight.

PITTSBURGH -- Prosecutors dropped charges against a player on the Pittsburgh Steelers who was accused of fighting at Margarita Mamas in Station Square in March.

"There were six witnesses, and four said he wasn't involved in the fight and two said they weren't sure who was involved in it," Townsend's attorney, Robert DelGreco, told The Associated Press on Monday. "Deshea said from the beginning that he was not involved in this fight, and he wasn't."

After hearing from the witnesses, Pittsburgh District Judge Cathleen Bubash dismissed a simple assault charge against Townsend at the end of a preliminary hearing Monday.

The judge also delayed a preliminary hearing for Townsend's friend Raymond Burgess, 27, of Pittsburgh, who was also charged in the fight.

If Burgess completes anger management classes by that time, a simple assault charge with be dismissed and Burgess will plead guilty to a summary charge of harassment, DelGreco said. The charge would carry a small fine and up to 90 days in jail.

Townsend was charged after a man complained that the football player and another man punched him in the face at Margarita Mama's, a nightclub on the city's South Side, early on March 2.

Burgess contended the alleged victim lunged at him first and said security guards broke up the fight while Townsend was in another part of the bar.
