Rotoworld says Jets are trying Cromartie at WR adding to his responsibilities as their top CB. Also, Jets have serious team construction issues and is looking less coherent. Meanwhile, Rex standing my Sanchez still reiterating he's the starter.

I'm a fan and it's a painful time. I feel like the Jets are becoming the reality TV show where the stuff you see/hear is so ridiculous it's shocking. When does Sanchez goes, Rex get fired, etc? This is an embarrassment. I'm surprised they didn't lose by more last night to Hou. I think 2-14 is about to become a reality.

Isn't there an official Jets thread already? Figured this would be more at home there.

Seems like Rex's popularity is following the same trajectory that Mangenius' did.

Predictably so, though his shelf life is longer.The league passed Rex by IMO. He's using a model (QB manager, ground n pound, opportunistic defense) that worked well around the millenium. Of course, none of the ingredients are high quality - he invested in a mediocre young QB, a no talent plodder, and a defense that can't generate pressure with 4-5 pass rushers.
