Joe> I'd like to buy Footballguys.com (1 Viewer)

I have it on good authority that @Otis has purchased a 4% minority ownership in the New York Mets ***OFFICIAL*** thread in the baseball forum. Market value = $4.63

Let's go @Otis. What's the deal here? I'm sick of punks like you and @Snickers who give me a chubby teasing me with these big Friday threads and then p###ing the bed and/or disappearing.
I'm still under an NDA and not about to jeopardize something this big. Stay tuned.

Can you add a "love" button?  I feel like others are able to properky express their appreciation of my posts with just a "like".  They're getting frustrated.

Love how the ampersand informed me that I was mentioned in this thread.  My interns may become a thing of the past.
It's not an ampersand.

I'd hate to see the whole deal fall through if the term ampersand was incorrectly used in the legal papers.

And we know the deal is real because of how long the negotiations are taking and Joe's prolonged absence from the site.

As an upside... the long drawn out negotiations make for a greater value for Otis. The value of this forum has decreased 34% over this term based on my analysis. Team @Otis are shrewd negotiators, no doubt. I'm not sure Joe ampersand company knew who they were dealing with.

I'm of a mind that @Otis 's funding has fallen through.  I'd bet the wife decided to re-do the kitchen, build a tennis court in the backyard, and add an Au Pair suite for their 3rd nanny. Even Otis bucks has its limits.

We're not even close, Jim.

I don't know if you've noticed that Shark Pool thread with the folks here trying to get MyFBG back up and running for everyone (looks like it's been a bit of a challenge).  I have.  Don't think for a moment that won't impact valuations.  And the timing of the opening of Hoosguys isn't just coincidence.

Lots happening here, all I can say at his point.

Thought he was building the death star

FFA,  Shark Pool and the Forum formerly known as Test make up a third of the all of the whole FBG worth? So when this goes through, passes through the FTC, DOD and the NEC, The Senate and Congress, Joe ditches 90% of his aggravation (The New My FBG is another 9.5%), can pawn off on Otis the $250K he pays for Obamacare and makes $25K?

Joe,

You should have received the paperwork by now. Any updates from your side?  I have to admit, I'm about concerned about what all the Trump threads will do to valuations during the closing period.  We should discuss.

Otis

I don't know whether or how the new politics subforum impacts valuation, but I've got the CPAs evaluating.

Pretty sure this move significantly increases the revenue multiplier that Joe and David will want.  I think it may be out of your price range now Oats.

I've been hearing rumblings reacting to the new manifesto piece that was issued.  Reaction has not been positive and I predict a decreased value based on decreased "traffic" from eliminated aliases.
