Joe Needs Help - Footballguy Testimonials? (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

One thing that we wanted to add to the website this year was some short testimonials from our Footballguys readers.

For any of you that happen to be satisfied customers :lmao: could you help me out?

Shoot me a quick email with a couple of lines about what you think about the site. That FBG helped you win the league. That FBG helped you make a zillion bucks. That FBG was the key to you landing a date with the Cowboys cheerleader. Whatever.

If you could give me your name and your league or your team name or whatever that would be great. Not sure what all we'll use there.

If you'd shoot it to me at bryant@footballguys.com or shoot me a PM or even post it here if you want that would be great.

Much appreciate the help. Thank you.

J

"I eat, live and breathe at Footballguys.com. They have a cot for me out back. I even get my mail there."

You can quote me. Although my testimonial may not carry much weight.

Footballguys.com gives me all the information I need to be competitive in my fantasy football league. I also found a killer brisket recipe on the site.

The site is quite useful. Especially the Draft Dominator program - which helps track drafts; especially for the commish. But don't say 'hillbilly' or they'll give you a timeout.

Footballguys saved my marriage! By putting everything I could ever want in one location, endless hours of research has now been saved for the wife. Thank you FOOTBALL GUYS!!

Quiero decir gracias a Footballguys, sin ellos yo nunca habría encontrado tanto ifreinds bueno de los EEUU. He ganado también tanto local y las ligas del trabajo a causa de Footballguys que yo ahora soy prohibido de muchos de ellos.

Hi Joe --

I've been playing FF for 15 years now, and FBG is the only site I depend on for news, analysis, and discussion of the NFL and fantasy football. I've been a subscriber for three years now and consider my fee worth every single penny I've spent on it.

I also use the draft & lineup dominators, and in 2006 my wife's team (Blonde Bombers) used them to capture her first FF championship.

My wife and I will always drink the FBG Kool-aid!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Footballguys' Dominators, Blogs, and Articles organized all the info I needed to fill the loud mouth pie holes with the bitter taste of defeat in all my leagues.

Last season my team was awesome. I had a loaded backfield, grabbed plenty of WRs that turned into studs and had an underrated defense and kicker. Thanks to FBG's QBBC recommendations last season I managed to barely make the playoffs and get my butt kicked in the Championship game because my QB play was so atrocious all season. Leftwich, Brooks and Favre really helped put the nail in my championship hopes. Thanks Chase and FBG!

:lmao:

In all seriousness though:

Footballguys is an absolutely invaluable resource. I get updates all pre-season and during the season on breaking news before most of my leaguemates do. I also get loads of training camp info that has given me insight into training camp battles and rookie potential.

On top of all of that, the Projections Dominator and Draft Dominator applications make it easy to organize all of my thoughts, hash out my projections, and make the data work for me. The on the fly adjustments that the Draft Dominator makes while drafting is light years ahead of any other manner of drafting. It takes VBD to a different level and truly leverages it for the biggest possible advantage. While other people are sorting through their cheat sheets just trying to make sure they aren't taking someone that has already been drafted, I'm able to look ahead and make an educated guess as to who will be left, what the tiers look like, what every other team's draft needs still are and on and on.

The one stop shop for everything Fantasy Football. All the info you need at one site, it makes Fantasy Football as easy as shooting fish in a barrel, although I've never shot fish in a barrel, I understand it to be very, very easy.

I am on this website from 8am to 4pm CST Monday through Friday! I'd like to thank FBG's for paying me good money to overwhelm my brain with limitless football knowledge.

Since I've started residing in these message boards since 2001 I have been a nuisance to all other owners in all of my leagues.

Rest assured, I will always be in the money. However, that ever so elusive championship eludes me to this day...but I've never been a lucky guy.

:goodposting:

FBG made me into a 500 lb bench pressing, supermodel dating, grill master the instant I joined.

Oh yeah, their fantasy stuff is pretty good, too.

Footballguys has the most up to the minute information along with THE BEST rankings of any other sites out there.

About the best way to answer this is this: I bet if you took a poll and asked everyone in the forums if footballguys.com has improved their fantasy game, the numbers would be astronomically high. The depth of the coverage is the difference. There is not one area of fantasy football that isn't covered. I don't feel a need to use any other sites for my fantasy information. The boards are filled with the most knowledgeable posters anywhere. The rankings, tools, projections, articles etc are all top notch. The staff is accessible and many post regularly on the boards.

The thing that stands out above everything is that the customer service is as good as I have ever seen. The questions and concerns are always addressed in a timely manner, and even if something can't be changed or added, or whatever, you always explain why.

I don't see how any serious fantasy football player could not like this website. My game has taken off to a new level and is still getting better. I have only been here for a little over a year and I can't begin to say how much more I know about fantasy football...and football in general than I used to. And I did know a lot before, but this site has taken my knowledge to a higher level.

I think the site is excellent, and it is due to the people....staff, posters, everyone.

Here is my input that certainly won't make it into any FBG testimonial....

There is no need to even purchase an FBG subscription. The site has all the info you need for free.

Football Guys - It can help with more than your fantasy league!

I was in a $20 survivor pool with over 300 people. After Jax's first loss to Houston knocked out half the field I figured there was no way they could lose again and had them picked as my game of the week.

Then I read the game report on here and saw the crazy numbers Carr and the Texans have put up against Jax over the years. I switched my pick that week and watched as Houston once again knocked out half the field.

I ended up splitting the pot in Wk 16 with one other guy, for a $3000 profit.

Thanks FBG!

Great ideas for testimonials HERE.

WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SQUARE WAVES, March 8, 2007

By Baka Desu "dialoguewiththestars" (TOP SECRET LOCATION CENSORED) - See all my reviews

This is quite easily the most delicious beverage I have ever been able to sample, and it makes for the best baking ever, but you have to watch your ears sometimes.

I think it was my 2nd shipment, I broke the seal on the cap and almost went deaf. Ear doctor told me it was a 3500 Hz square wave. Thankfully I have recovered my sense of hearing, and I know know to either cover my ears or turn my hearing off when opening my Tuscan Whole Milk.

In summary, 3500 Hz square waves are among the most potent sound known to modern man.

Hi Dirty Weasel,Thanks. I'd agree there is a ton of info here. But some folks want more and that's what we try to provide.

I thought you guys might like this email from one guy this morning who won't be giving a testimonial. He was replying to the Daily Email Update I sent last night where I talked about the story where Brown's rookie WR Mike Mason was arrested. With all the troubles the Bengals have had in Cincinnati, I made a comment about maybe it was something in the Ohio water.

I guess that was over the line.

You comment on Mason’s arrest is “Maybe it's just something in the Ohio water...”??????????????????????

That’s the best you can do. A played out line about the water…? You suck. I’m officially unsubscribing and I’ll pass on the piss poor banter to anyone who will listen. You’re a putts!
Can't win them all. It's part of it. But "putts" (sic) is just going too far... :lmao: J

Wondering if the correct spelling would make it through the word filter? I'll just wonder.

Where do I begin? Footballguys is the #1 service out there. As a student without a lot of money, I've found that Footballguys offer by far the best value of any fantasy football service. The player analysis is rich in content and quality with easy to follow positives and negatives on every player that you'd even consider having on your roster. I play in a dynasty league and their year-round rankings have helped me make the right decisions on valuing players during the season and in the offseason. The daily emails are filled with insightful analysis on breaking news. If I had only one service to pick, it would be Footballguys without question. I would be confident heading into the season knowing that the advice they provide would help me make better decisions and power my team to victory.

This person who emailed you must not have gotten in line to pick up a sense of humor. ;)

As an up-and-coming defense lawyer in Ohio, FBG has enabled me to expand my clientele, increase my salary, and support my nightlife. By receiving breaking news, I can make it to the jail before my client’s even call! I am contemplating starting an office in Georgia, and it is all because of my FBG subscription. Thanks Joe!

What can I say? I'm a cheap SOB. I just normally try to trick your paying customers into giving me "the skinny" on the "classified" info. Either way, the free stuff here is 10 times better than the pay stuff at other sites. Hey, that last line is a great testimonial. Too bad it basically means you needn't fork over the dough to rule your league. The last time I spent a penny on info was the Fantasy magazine I bought in 1993.

There is more fantasy football information here on a weekly basis then I have reasonable time to digest - Footballguys is a true one stop shop

Before FootballGuys I was just a middle-aged overweight office clerk that couldn't handle a draft beer let alone a live draft. Who knew what a dynasty league was, or defense by committee, or strength of schedule, or targets, the list goes on and on. Now after 3 years of great in-depth player reports, fantasy strategy guides, dynasty rankings, rookie reports, sleeper reports, daily emails, and community support - I can honestly say I can pretty much rattle off every starting offensive player in the NFL, and their backup, and their backup's backup. Three championships later and I am hooked. I can't get enough.

Here is something for any Dutch prospects!
