Earl Bennett has been buried on the depth chart - he had off-season knee surgury that he has been slow to come back from. In fact, he still isn't practicing on a regular basis, and is probably 5th on the depth chart right now. It took Bennett a full NFL season to learn the Ron Turner West Coast offense so there's also a valid concern on how fast Bennett will pick up the Martz offense. With him being out, that learning curve is probably even steeper. If he does contribute this season, it likely won't be in the first quarter of the NFL season.netnalp said:I don't think that matters much. It didn't help David Terrell when he was on the Pats in 2005.hooter311 said:Nobody is hammering home the part where Cutler and Bennett played together at Vanderbuilt?
