I’m not seeing how selling him can be “sell high” - I mean I get his value can potentially go lower.
I have him in one league. My team is stacked although losing him would be a blow to RB depth - so I’m riding it out and hoping for best.

My thought is that a bubble is inflating right now.

There’s a non-zero chance a trade doesn’t get done, and he doesn’t reconcile with INDY. That would hurt his value a lot compared to right now.

If he lands in Miami, his value likely rises significantly.

There’s another option where he goes to a committee, and yes that likely hurts his value a little.

I’m chatting with another FBG-er who’s getting more and more action as the rumors swirl. It inspired this topic.

IMO If you have a bird in the hand offer and it’s fair/good for you, sell JT.

If the music stops and he doesn’t have a chair, the bottom will fall out in a hurry.

His value is certainly not “high” right now. I think you’d be selling low (and just avoiding the risk of it going lower). This is panic selling, not selling high. You’re going to get lowballed now until he’s back on the field.

Unless he really does need a second surgery, any news at this point (trade or reports to camp - he’s not going to miss regular season games) can only be a positive for his value so waiting is a much better strategy than a panic sell.

I got turned down for Bijan's pick.

I'm not doing anything. How did Saquan do? Jacobs? The market stinks. Just because he wants something doesn't mean it's available.

Miami having tried n struck out may be the only suitor. Are you sure McDaniel even wants to have one back? The guy loves a RBBC.

If I were trading w them, I'd also want some depth WRs. Did Myles Gaskin fall off the earth? Throw him in too.

The issue is the big piece they want for Taylor and Miami probably having a roster hole wherever that is and no time to fill it.

A late first is not ideal. They probably ask for more because of it and Miami can't give up more.

I don't see it happening

Sorry, just to be clear, you offered JT for Bijan’s pick? Redraft, keeper or dynasty?

Not exactly shocking that your offer got turned down.

My thinking was he's established, Bijan isn't but Bijan has more years ahead so what else would he want in addition.
He wasn't even interested

16 team half point ppr. Keep 3 annually without losing a draft round. Can keep Taylor forever.

obviously, I have to ride him into the dirt. Don’t know why he thinks he’s due an extension after that only 6 months of production over a three year career. My guess is that he ends up back in Andy for week 1 and is in and out of the lineup all season with minor changes njuries. Looking like a lost season for my fantasy team.

Could be a bubble deflation coming…
Next Tuesday is a significant day on the NFL calendar because it’s roster cut-down day when teams must be down to 53 men. Taylor is currently on the active/PUP list and could remain on the list if the team opts not to trade him. If he’s moved to the reserve/PUP list on Tuesday, he’ll be required to miss the first four games of the regular season
I can’t imagine that will help his FF value.

Yeah, if he still gets paid, he’ll gladly sit those games out. I’m not convinced that happens but it’s a possibility.

Like I said, greater than zero.

If I had a reasonably good offer for him on the table and an otherwise competitive team, I’m clicking accept.

That said, I tried hard to buy low on the dip last year. ETN, 2025 1st, 2024 2nd. Dude said he wanted to accept but couldn’t pull the trigger.

Thank the lord.

So what are we doing?

I'm attempting to buy.

Offered Lockett or Cooper straight up nada, now considering including Pacheco

Yes, I'm a Moss owner that's lost Chubb

I have been trying to buy without any success.
Every counter is too much of overpay.
Offered Kyren/Evans + Elijah Moore and early 2nd
He countered for me to add Kendre Miller & another early 2nd
I then countered with McLaurin over Elijah ... and then he asked for a 1st to accompany ... PASS.

I would love to see what JT is being moved for in Dyno .... since I apparently have no clue.

Redraft? Ride it out. No one is giving up anything good for him right now.

Dynasty? Also ride it out unless someone blows you away with a future first or two.

So I have JT and I have Moss and at the moment both are in a depressed market due to uncertaintly. Offerring out for either of them gets a hard no and I haven't gotten any offers "in" at this point but I may be able to get Waddle for JT but my team is pretty stacked and Taylor being traded would be the best outcome for my FF team and him coming back and screwing both his and moss' value is likely the worst case scenario.

I have Moss but not JT (redraft). Offered Moss for Flowers (to JT owner) and he countered w/McLaurin (no thanks, I've seen that movie). So in summary the owner is "McLaurin worried" but not "Flowers worried" that he won't come back.

I attempted to buy, but was punched in the face and told to stay out of Woolworth.

First post on this forum. Man, I wish I knew this place was around before my fantasy draft. I wouldn't be 0-3 atm.

As for Taylor, a few guys have been giving me offers but nothing substantial enough to feel good about it. When can we expect JT to suit up? I think he has immense potential but I am worried about where he goes (if anywhere) and how long it takes to get back in peak playing shape.

He’s practicing. I think he will hit the ground running.

Do you foresee any issues regarding the holdout/demanding a trade still?

Has he rescinded his desire to be moved elsewhere? Is he truly willing to play out the season without a contract extension in place?

I believe he knows he doesn’t have any leverage and the way to up his trade value is to prove his health and perform well on the field. If the Colts don’t get what they want in a trade they will just franchise him two years in a row. Also, he on his rookie deal, so it’s not like he can afford to sit without a paycheck.

Was offered Mosert and Godwin for Taylor and AJ Brown.

I waited it out this long why not wait another week. I've got the RB depth to do that

I got him as part of a deal this summer.
I don't believe he's playing for the Colts, especially if Moss has a good game again. Hard to read the tea leaves in this one just a guess.
I'm not doing a thing. All I got was garbage offers as if he's garbage.

I googled the trade deadline and have been expecting him to play after that day- anything else is gravy for me.

It’s a week away and I want to hear something definitive one way or the other. The lack of information from both sides is frustrating but if you’ve held him this long it makes zero sense to trade him for pennies on the dollar unless you’re 0-3 and desperate for help.

I don't think the last part of your last sentence is reason to sell for pennies on the dollar either. Just because a team is 0-3 is no reason to sell cheaper. Taylor is still young.

I’m talking redraft.
