Just wondering...

Up until 2 weeks ago when Colston got hurt, I think he was the consensus ROY.

MJD has put up some very solid numbers with somewhat limited touches.

Is he now a serious threat to win the ROY, or is this still Colstons to lose?

On a side not, there was a FFA thread that had some website where you could bet on ROY futures and Colston had a rediculous odd to win. I am curious, if anyone knows, what MJDs odds were.

4 to 1. Boy did he get keerocked.I don't see Drew winning this as a back-up, regardless of his stats. Don't look now, but Vince Young is gaining momentum and hanging some W's.

Good point on Young...Addai is also in the mix, if he can reach 1000 yds. (has already?)Just curious why a backup (who is also leading all rooks in TDs) can't win the award?

Because appartently he can't unseat Taylor for the starting job. Guys like Addai and Young did unseat the starter. I'm not saying that he's not a great player, just that his value to his team lags some of the other candidates.

This guy sure plays a lot for a backup. I think we need to readjust our whole thought process when it comes to RBBC. Addai, Maroney, MJD, etc...are all lethal and it seems to be somewhat of a 2nd half thing after the other back has softened up the DEF and these quick guys come in and blow by and around the DEF. BTW, in my league MJD has outscored Fred Taylor 172 to 147 due to receptions, TD's and return yards.

This isnt an MVP or Most Valuable Rookie award. It is the rookie of the year, or best rookie. I don't think value to their team plays nearly as large a role as that players productivity in this case.

I think if Colston gets 1000 or more yards receiving he has to be a lock.
Vince Young is 6-4 as a starter and has pulled off some huge plays/comebacks at the end of games that will stick in the minds of the voters. He's a big favorite to win this award now, IMO.
