actually I meant the whole game this week. looking one week at a time. I have one of those options, don't want to turn it into an AC thread. Just curious if one practiced more with first team today than the other, or if they shared. Sure it's a desperation move, but when you've been relying on Fred Jackson for your RB2 slot you'd salivate at the potential of one of your bench foddwe getting a RB gig even for 1 week, starter is better than backup in my book any day, no matter what the matchuer

Wonder if the Raiders give Rhodes the chance to see what he has so they can see what guy they keep next year. I have helf onto Rhodes all year hoping he would get a chance. Hard to put him over Parker or Jacobs in my semifinal game though.

Lawfitz? Anyone? Will it be an equal split? Jordan out of the doghouse a bit more? Rhodes set to receive more carries to see what he can do? I'm in the finals of my local league and am really thin at RB.

Personally, I think it will be a split between Rhodes/Jordan depending on who gets hot over the course of the game.

But my guy said on Monday that he expects Jordan to start even though Jordan was inactive this past weekend. If that turns out to be true, Kiff has been a one back guy this year, so Jordan may get the majority of PT unless his bad back flares up.

That said, there's been a lot of internal turmoil within the organization of late. Add that to the regular shroud of secrecy and mind games and even the insiders are dizzy right now.

If I get a stronger confirmation before the weekend, I'll let you know.

With the Jaguars being similar to the Vikings in the middle in terms of run defense, and the Raiders likely countering by trying to run at the defensive ends, the guess is Rhodes will get first crack.

yes, and I am one of those desperate people. I am probably going to start Jordan (really only other choice is fred Jackson or javon Walker, maybe Kenton keith), and I am going to hope that he is the one that gets hot, or at least catches a lot of dumpoffs (PPR).

Per RotoWorld (Friday):

Dominic Rhodes will start at running back for the Raiders in Week 16, coach Lane Kiffin confirmed on Friday.

Kiffin added that LaMont Jordan will play, which is what he's been indicating all week. Kiffin expects to ride whoever's hotter early for the rest of the game. The Raiders face Jacksonville's fifth-ranked rush defense on Sunday.

My take is that neither one of these guys is going to be very productive. I'm stuck starting Rhodes b/c Roddy White is injuried, but I'm not looking forward to it!
