what? how dare you.Lmao to such serious responses to such tongue-in-cheek posts.
Olajuwon = a not always hurt Joel Embiid. That guy was good in any era. Also Olajuwon = skinny Jahlil Okafor
And really if you think about it, Pippen would only be like 6'3 in today's game. #moreyouknowScottie Pippen is just basically a taller Elfrid Payton if you really think about it
Not in today's gamePippen could shoot. This is a terrible comparison.
Just tell us. Whose cheek was your tongue in while you were posting?what? how dare you.
Not Jordan's. He couldn't even guard me.Just tell us. Whose cheek was your tongue in while you were posting?
Of course not. Not while you're tonguing his cheek he can't.Not Jordan's. He couldn't even guard me.
Plus, he had a year where he shot almost 50% from behind the arc. Which according to this thread means he's better than Jordan.
What are you talking about?Of course not. Not while you're tonguing his cheek he can't.
The patriarchy. What are you talking about? What are you talking about?
The guy in today's game who reminds me the most of Olajuwon is Udoka Azubuike. He would've been a lottery pick if he hadn't hurt his hand. You'll see more of him next winter. Also Olajuwon = skinny Jahlil Okafor
I feel like we haven't discussed Kueth Duany enough in this thread. Yet.Lmao at such serious responses to such tongue-in-cheek posts.
I think that's the real reason why Kerr is sitting out Game 1.You all realize that if Kerr the coach shakes hands with Kerr the player after game one, the Universe explodes?
He's not Duany Duany.I feel like we haven't discussed Kueth Duany enough in this thread. Yet.
Jordan played most of his career in an era where a whole lot more points were scored. Probably because with the old illegal defense rules you almost couldn't double-team a player. If you watch some Jordan highlights you'll see he is single covered pretty much all of the time. That being said I really think there's no real logical reason to assume Jordan would score more points in today's game than in yesteryear. Especially when you consider talent is probably better than it was back then (ignoring better condition/diet/etc in the present era) because a whole lot more foreign players are in the league nowadays.Bulls regardless of rules.
-If 90's, Curry and String Bean would get knocked around so much. Nobody to body up with Rodman.
-If today's rules, Jordan averages 40-45 PPG. Rebounding carries across eras, Rodman would still kill it.
-I do think Iggy covering Jordan would be super interesting though
I was at the game when Rodman kicked a courtside cameraman in the nuts. Never seemed like the kick connected all that well. Wouldn't surprise me if the cameraman flopped.I'm afraid I'm not completely familiar with those players' bodies of work. Has Thompson ever ninja kicked Paul George in the face?
I just looked up this team for fun. Craig Hodges was on it. 1.6 three pointers per game. Attempted. Different era. We should try to compare it to now.the 85 bucks would crush either of these posers take that to the bank bromigos
Well he full on kicked Pippen in the face with a jump kick.I was at the game when Rodman kicked a courtside cameraman in the nuts. Never seemed like the kick connected all that well. Wouldn't surprise me if the cameraman flopped.
Nope. Either the Bulls would sweep or the Warriors would.Jordan played most of his career in an era where a whole lot more points were scored. Sidney Moncrief = G.O.A.T. of perimeter defensethe 85 bucks would crush either of these posers take that to the bank bromigos
Looking at Pippen's face... yeah, well who didn't?Well he full on kicked Pippen in the face with a jump kick.
I'm just talking about the comment that Jordan would average 45 in today's game. Both were great teams. That Bulls team almost won a title without Jordan. The Warriors team did win a title without Durant. Cavs are probably a better team than the Bulls played in any of their championship runs and Warriors will most likely beat them in 5.Nope. Either the Bulls would sweep or the Warriors would.
Dude...I thought he was joking.Meh--your attempt at a smart sounding snarky comment failed pretty miserably in my opinion. Nothing you can say will make you sound smart in regards to basketball when you compare Jordan to Derozan and Pippen to Kris Middleton. Rodman was a guy that went after every rebound he could with a vigor--and used his undersized body to play far bigger than he was. Tristan is probably the closest thing to that today. I get why so many people think that the Warriors would beat the Bulls today--but many of the comparisons and fabricated rational to how they support their opinions is completely void of basketball IQ. Seriously--it's as easy as the Warriors would win because at the end of the day they will go down as the best or one of the best shooting teams in basketball history. That's the only reason why. Saying that the Warriors are an athletically superior team--and that Jordan is a modern day Derozan is intellectually dishonest.
Other than Jordan = Derozan, yes.Dude...I thought he was joking.
JaVale would be doing that in a half if someone would play hime.In 1996 Elfrid would be putting up 30/8/8
If he was--it certainly flew over my head. I don't personally know any of the people in this forum and I'm not a super old school member. My apologies if my sarcasm radar is not super on point in this place.Dude...I thought he was joking.
$5 to your $11 that doesn't happen.I'm just talking about the comment that Jordan would average 45 in today's game. Both were great teams. That Bulls team almost won a title without Jordan. The Warriors team did win a title without Durant. Cavs are probably a better team than the Bulls played in any of their championship runs and Warriors will most likely beat them in 5.
Anyone comparing Derozan to Jordan is either a moron or very funny. I mean even Tobias didn't attempt this.If he was--it certainly flew over my head. I don't personally know any of the people in this forum and I'm not a super old school member. My apologies if my sarcasm radar is not super on point in this place.
I was totally serious about Jordan = Wiggins.Other than Jordan = Derozan, yes.
So you're offering me odds that are something like 4 times worse than I could get in Vegas in a forum that has a very recent example of :cstu: ?$5 to your $11 that doesn't happen.
Lol. I assure you that many members of the younger generation that haven't taken the time to really evaluate the championship Bulls truly think that a guy like Steph Curry is the best player of all time. Even the people that watch highlight reels of Jordan don't understand what Jordan was. Jordan was a true savant of the game. A true mixture of crazy athleticism, a hunger to win like no other and showed it on both ends of the court, a confident swag to where he would talk mad game and actually back it up, and one of the best clutch genes in all of sports. A lot of the younger generation will watch some highlights and think the dude had a post up jumper and some nice dunks--but that's such a drop in the bucket relative to what Jordan really was. Point taken though.Anyone comparing Derozan to Jordan is either a moron or very funny. I mean even Tobias didn't attempt this.
