Jordan's Bulls vs the Warriors of the past 3 years (1 Viewer)

Bulls regardless of rules.

-If 90's, Curry and String Bean would get knocked around so much. Nobody to body up with Rodman.

-If today's rules, Jordan averages 40-45 PPG. Rebounding carries across eras, Rodman would still kill it.

-I do think Iggy covering Jordan would be super interesting though
Jordan played most of his career in an era where a whole lot more points were scored.  Probably because with the old illegal defense rules you almost couldn't double-team a player.  If you watch some Jordan highlights you'll see he is single covered pretty much all of the time.  That being said I really think there's no real logical reason to assume Jordan would score more points in today's game than in yesteryear.  Especially when you consider talent is probably better than it was back then (ignoring better condition/diet/etc in the present era) because a whole lot more foreign players are in the league nowadays.

I'm afraid I'm not completely familiar with those players' bodies of work. Has Thompson ever ninja kicked Paul George in the face?
I was at the game when Rodman kicked a courtside cameraman in the nuts.  Never seemed like the kick connected all that well.  Wouldn't surprise me if the cameraman flopped.

the 85 bucks would crush either of these posers take that to the bank bromigos
I just looked up this team for fun.  Craig Hodges was on it.  1.6 three pointers per game.  Attempted.  Different era.  We should try to compare it to now.

Nope.  Either the Bulls would sweep or the Warriors would.

I'm just talking about the comment that Jordan would average 45 in today's game.  Both were great teams.  That Bulls team almost won a title without Jordan.  The Warriors team did win a title without Durant.  Cavs are probably a better team than the Bulls played in any of their championship runs and Warriors will most likely beat them in 5.

Meh--your attempt at a smart sounding snarky comment failed pretty miserably in my opinion. Nothing you can say will make you sound smart in regards to basketball when you compare Jordan to Derozan and Pippen to Kris Middleton.  Rodman was a guy that went after every rebound he could with a vigor--and used his undersized body to play far bigger than he was. Tristan is probably the closest thing to that today. I get why so many people think that the Warriors would beat the Bulls today--but many of the comparisons and fabricated rational to how they support their opinions is completely void of basketball IQ.   Seriously--it's as easy as the Warriors would win because at the end of the day they will go down as the best or one of the best shooting teams in basketball history. That's the only reason why. Saying that the Warriors are an athletically superior team--and that Jordan is a modern day Derozan is intellectually dishonest.
Dude...I thought he was joking.

Jordan posted up, and shot mid range jumpers.  Doesn't fit today.  His skill set is way off.  Sure he'd adapt, but tell me why he wouldn't be Derozan with better defense?

If he was--it certainly flew over my head. I don't personally know any of the people in this forum and I'm not a super old school member. My apologies if my sarcasm radar is not super on point in this place.

Anyone comparing Derozan to Jordan is either a moron or very funny.  I mean even Tobias didn't attempt this.

Lol. I assure you that many members of the younger generation that haven't taken the time to really evaluate the championship Bulls truly think that a guy like Steph Curry is the best player of all time.   Even the people that watch highlight reels of Jordan don't understand what Jordan was. Jordan was a true savant of the game. A true mixture of crazy athleticism, a hunger to win like no other and showed it on both ends of the court, a confident  swag to where he would talk mad game and actually back it up, and one of the best clutch genes in all of sports.   A lot of the younger generation will watch some highlights and think the dude had a post up jumper and some nice dunks--but that's such a drop in the bucket relative to what Jordan really was.  Point taken though.
