Joseph Addai Injury Update (1 Viewer)

The Colts need to re-sign Addai in my opinion and go with Addai and Hart next season. Brown continues to be a bust. He got plenty of chances last night, including a chance to score from the 2, but ran soft and showed no burst. Hart (pun intended) was all heart. He ran hard, made positive yardage and had good burst when he got into the open field. He was very impressive.

But if Addai and Hart are both out, the Colts' running game is in serious trouble.
Do you think if Hart had gotten two carries from the two the Colts would've gotten 7 there? I'm wondering if the TO was to get Hart in there after Brown ran to the pile and fell over...

Based on how well Hart was running I definitely would have given him a better chance to score than Brown. I was surprised they kept Brown in when they got near the goal line.

I was suprised and how good Mike Hart looked, and suprised at how bad Donald Brown looked. Can`t see the Colts keeping Brown past this year.

That was my take too. I liked Brown coming out of college but he didn't impress me last season and he looked God awful last night. Even if we want to say he wasn't healthy and that's why he stunk that strikes at the heart of the biggest issue with Brown - he can't stay healthy. He looks like a rather huge bust.

I don't know how much you can take from a player's first game back from injury. But if there's anything to take from this, it's that the likelihood the Colts resign Addai after this year has gone up considerably.

I agree and have posted that too.As far as Brown, I didn't see much different with him last night than I've seen in his career to date. I don't discount the fact he may not be 100% but if he isn't I'll say again that strikes at the biggest issue with him and that's his inability to stay healthy.

I just think he's possibly not a special player.

Please Addai get better soon. Colts backfield is going to be a mess until he gets back. Hart looked far superior to Brown last night, but that ankle injury he suffered did not look insignificant. I can't believe I'm considering adding Javarris James to my roster :)

Would Addai's Out status stay the same all week or would it fluctuate? Trying to figure out if I will have to take him off IR.

Officially, statuses are only changed once a week, on Friday when the final injury report comes out. The statuses that show up on Wednesday, after the first injury report, aren't official. All teams do is report practice participation in that report, websites, such as MFL, interpret that data into status updates, but again those aren't coming from the NFL. So I guess it would depend on your league rules as to what you have to pay attention to.
