JSTEW 2012 and beyond (1 Viewer)

He has one year left on his contract and will be a free agent in 2013 at age 26. Will he stay in Carolina? No way Carolina can pay big bucks to both he and DeAngelo. When he is a free agent, DeAngelo will be 30 years old. I don't know enough of his contract to understand what the ramifications would be if they cut him next year, is there a chance? Cut him after next year? I think JSTEW is a BEAST and will be a top 7 RB in the NFL when given the full opportunity. Guy can run, break tackles, and catch out of the backfield. Thoughts? Still shaking my head at Carolina giving DeAngelo that contact last summer. Just ridiculous.

I'm probably going to love him next year based on what his ADP will be. One of the few guys you could potentially get as a #4 RB on your roster with good upside. Didn't realize he's only going to be 25 years old.

Yea, he is quite young for as long as he has been in the league. He also has a lot of tread left as he has been sharing for most of his career. Perhaps he could be another Turner FA pickup for some team in 2013?

Biggest shame that his primo years have been wasted in that dopey timeshare. Most complete and talented rb in some time

Although many years have been wasted, he still has some good years left as he is only 24 right now. This guy joined the league quite young.

I think he played better than Deangelo this season and could be given a larger role next season as CAR tries to determine if they want to offer him a long term contract renewal. Even this season he was the better fantasy back and was a pretty good flex play. There is no question that 2013 will see him as a lead back either in CAR or somewhere else. This is not the time to trade him if you have held onto him in dynasty this long.

For him; couldn't have gone better. Will be able to walk when he is 50, will have an extended career, and make more than ADP in the long-run...he won't make the Hall, but I think he can live with that.

It's been a very frustrating wait this long and I'm not selling until I see what he does with the lead. Hes a beast of a RB
