Labour’s Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott in the Commons:

Julian Assange’s whistleblowing put him “In the crosshairs of the US administration”. “He’s being pursued because he’s exposed wrong doing by US forces” — @HackneyAbbott

Pamela Anderson has weighed in on the Julian Assange arrest for those waiting with bated breath for her take on the subject.

I am in shock.. I couldn’t hear clearly what he said? He looks very bad. How could you Equador ? (Because he exposed you). How could you UK. ? Of course - you are America’s ##### and you need a diversion from your idiotic Brexit bull####.

And the USA ? This toxic coward of a President He needs to rally his base? - You are selfish and cruel. You have taken the entire world backwards. You are devils and liars and thieves. And you will ROTT And WE WILL RISE

I, for one, am totally shocked by this latest bombshell.

I never would have guessed that Pam Anderson wasn't a huge Trump supporter.

I find it a bit curious how the one who stole govt. documents is hailed as a hero and a whistle blower by some but the person who published those stolen documents is a villian?

Personally, I think that both of them should share a cell under the prison.

I think whistle-blowers are vital and prosecuting WikiLinks might be a step too close to violation of freedom of the press.

Whistle-blowers who give up government secrets are spies or traitors, no?
No.

“In no case shall information be classified… in order to: conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error; prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency… or prevent or delay the release of information that does not require protection in the interest of the national security.”

—Executive Order 13526, Sec. 1.7. Classification Prohibitions and Limitations

Not if it exposes wrongdoing in the public interest.
