I'm struggling with injuries at WR in a deep league with IDP 6 IDP starters so offensive players get credit for tackles. Also get points for return yards so I'm thinking if Julian Edelman can get a few more snaps on defense, he might be able to get more than 3 or 4 tackles in a game, with a couple points for return yards and the potential for a big play, might make him a worthy WR3 starter for me. Anyone think I'm crazy?

I remember two years ago when George Wilson was WR eligible on ESPN, I scooped that up right away, and rode him to the championship. He ended up as a WR1 the way he played, he also was a full time DB, which I don't think Edelman is. So he won't come close to that, but he could possibly be a sneaky WR3 as you say...
