Just drew #1 in 12 team redraft non PPR. Who to build around? (1 Viewer)

I just can't take ADP there. 1 man show. Charles was my gut choice with McCoy a close second. Lots of talk about KC's loss of O-line and their SOS playing NFC West. That being said, you can run on Seattle (and game is at KC), and with Charles catching passes out of the backfield he can find ways to beat even great defenses. All he needs is to get by the line.

McCoy's a stud too. Kelly and Reid will both ensure their horses are successful. Thinking just going to watch KC in preseason, and unless the line is atrocious I'm leaning to Charles. Which way would you go with #1 overall and why?

By the time either start falling off, you'll have your next RB stud you drafted waiting in the wings anyway.

There's no wrong choice. Calvin Johnson is the only other comparable player.

Thread title identifies the league as a re-draft.

Don't think you can really go wrong with any of McCoy, Charles or Peterson. I'd take McCoy, personally, just because I think he's the "safest" option mostly due to the reasons you already listed in the OP.

Can't argue much with either Charles or McCoy. But I do think Charles has a few more questions than McCoy, so I'm going McCoy when I draw #1. Fwiw, the tougher choice for me is #3, where I struggle with Forte vs. ADP.

Oh, then pick Peterson, he's the man.
Right, the best RB of the generation paired with one of the great OCs for RB production in recent history. What's not to love?

Did a bunch of research today and after reviewing offensive lines and schedule (especially playoffs) I'm leaning heavily towards McCoy. Running against the Cowboys twice, including once in the playoffs.

I think every coach has leaned on ADP since he was about 6. Don't think Norv is really going to make that much of a difference. But he is the best RB without question. Just don't like MN situation.

What's wrong with it?
