Just ran over a rabbits nest with lawnmower (1 Viewer)

I was hoping this thread would just go away. I did not do it intentionally....I was horrified. Right now there are more rabbits than ever around my backyard. Kind of like a Memorial as the hop around the accident site.
It's their Tiananmen Square. Waiting for a snapshot of a defiant one standing in front of your mower.

Run over bunnies--create hilarious thread on internet.

Shoot a lion--lose your dental practice.

There's a lesson here somewhere.

Wild rabbits are rodents. Their over population is a problem with our agriculture and they carry diseases. In my yard I take them out with pellet guns if my dogs don't get them first.

we have a family of rabbits that have taken up residence somewhere nearby. I know cause I see them in our yard. I haven't found a nest in my yard, so the nest must belong to one of the neighbors. The first thing I thought of was this thread :bag:

What does one do when you hit a baby rabbit with a lawnmower and it now it cant move its back legs?
Whack it with a shovel...hard.  Better to put it out of its misery than let it suffer.
