The playoff season is the quietest time for articles here. We're planning our attack for 2009, which usually starts with a lot of rookie stuff from The Audible crew during the college all star games and combine season. There are some weekly articles from the 2008 season with some forward thinking for dynasty leaguers -- Monopoly, Dynasty Watch for some offensive sleepers; Week 9-13 of the Reading the Defense and W17 Eyes of the Guru, along with most weeks of Borbely's Buy Low Sell High for IDPs. Rankings are hit and miss this month while we finish watching the 2008 season and digest the coaching changes and project draft thoughts and free agent movement.You might also find some good thoughts about current player value in the Mock Draft forum in the WSL threads. Those leagues are drafting full teams (redraft) for the 2009 season and are full of staff members and respected posters. It's a very solid ADP for offensive players at this time of the year.Feel free to post frequently in the IDP AC forum with questions about your ongoing draft or start threads about general stuff looking forward to 2009 in the main forum. I don't think there's an active thread about 2009 IDP sleepers yet, and that would be worth starting if you're interested. If you're not already following them, you might also check the scheme and coaching staff thread on the front page (which I'll be adding to all week long) and Bob Magaw's Up and Down from 2008 thread has a lot of great team-by-team discussion and review of the 08 season.
I'd go through the basics of IDP podcasts & articles - you need to know your scoring system and how it works. A quick rule of thumb compairng IDP to each other is big play scoring (sack/int/fumble) versus tackle scoring, but to compare "across the aisle" to offense, you need to see beyond just that relationship.
