Justin Forsett (1 Viewer)

The Texans sound very frustrated now with Tate's inability to stay healthy as a back-up. The claiming of Grimes today is a strong indication of that.

Forsett has been highly spoken of at every turn since being signed in early June. At the very least Forsett is looking like a nice bye-week desperation play for this week (vs Buffalo) since Tate is looking to be out. It is too bad Houston does not throw to the backs more because Forsett is an excellent receiver.

In deep leagues, there is always that thought of picking lottery tickets. If Foster went down, would Forsett become a big factor? I'm sure he's available in almost all leagues.

What do you think of Forsett's fantasy prospects?

He's little. I mean, he's only a couple inches shorter than my 14 y.o. I've loved small RBs ever since Matt Heron set the all-puporse yardage back in...sheet 1975 or something. I like Forsett as a nice CoP back to energize the offense.

Bell cow? No. Not happening in our lifetime. Seahawk fans who saw that experiment should weigh in here.

Tate is a serious monster talent who (when healthy) would be an 1800 yard total yards from scrimmage back for about 25 NFL teams - just about anybody except BAL, HOU, PHI and a few others.

If the unthinkable and unmentionable happened, I think the Texans would quickly become a multi-headed committee if Tate's injury lingered. Guys off the street would come in, and Forsett would never ever see more than 12-15 touches.

IMHO
