Justin Miller (1 Viewer)

Wasn't able to watch many games this week, curious about Miller's playing time. He's only credited for one tackle. Was he on the bench, or is this due more to the weather? What's his outlook going forward? I assume he's still in a rotation (don't get to see many Jets games), but his last few games before the bye he was at least getting a few tackles. My league awards stupid points for return yards, so he's still a decent start, but I'm kicking myself for trading McGee instead of Miller this past week. Just wondering if I'll be doing that for the rest of the year.

Thanks for the help.

Didn't see the game but like you, I start him purely for his returns. 1pt for every 20yds means he's a starter even if he doesn't make any defensive plays. Stupid settings, but easily exploited.

He was in a rotation with Dyson and barrett earlier, now he's reduced to spot duty and nickel. He has great talent, but it seems he isn't the shiniest penny in the fountain. Too many mistakes, blown coverages.... he doesn't seem to have a grip on Mangini's rather complicated scheme, so his playing time at CB is way down. He's still a very dangerous KR though.

Based on Kick-Off returns, this weeks matchup with Chicago is very good for Miller. Only the Colts and Chargers have allowed more kickoff-return yards all season. Their yards per return is no less than average but because of the number of kickoffs the Bears make there is the opportunity for a good returner like Miller to knock up the yards.

I'd expect the Bears to score 5 times so 25 yards a return (his average is 30.1) would be 125. On my scoring system thats the same as 6 takles. Not too shabby.
