Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas (1 Viewer)

I don't play in many IDP leagues so I may be late on this. But both are second year players and both look to be rising stars. Looks like they may already be one of the best safety tandems in the league.

Bam Bam Kam hits like a freakin truck. Earl is just super fast and gets his hands on a lot of passes. Really hopeful to see what this pair will do long term. I was concerned about Kam in coverage before the season, but he's made enough plays down field to quell those fears. If anything, the Seattle secondary as a whole tackles MUCH better than any group I remember in Seattle.

If this means anything, ProFootballFocus currently ranks Chancellor #6 and Thomas #11 for safeties. That places them as the top duo in the league. Reed/Pollard duo a close second.

Is this someone's opinion? Or somehow based on stats? I can't imagine that any GM in the league would value Chancellor ahead of Thomas.

They grade every player on every play.

I think Greg Cosell said that an NFL exec told him that Seattle has the best young secondary in the league. They have two young corners (Sherman and Browner) that are big and physical. The press-man coverage meshes well with Chancellor and Thomas. The two CBs weren't expected to start this year. Ascending secondary and defense. With Leon Washington as a returner, they are fantasy DST to keep a close eye on.

Clark is average at best.
Clark isn't even average.Anymore, he's a total liability in coverage and just bad playing the run.His reputation lies on the basis of highlight reel hits.I like Oakland's duo and the Broncos seem to have a bright future at the position. If Peprah keeps it up or Collins returns I like GBs pair as well. But, yeah Seattle has my favorite combo. Weird that 3 out of 4 of the teams I like are AFC West.

Sherman looks like a keeper, but Browner got some undeserved press coverage on that Monday Night Football game when Gruden slobbered all over him with his weekly load of hyperbole. Browner may still improve, but he led the league in penalties. That's just flat out unacceptable for a CB. That's a ton of first downs for one player to just hand over during a season.

Which three are those?
