So weird...I just jumped into the IDP section to post the same.Fletcher has already signed. Nap Harris is visiting KC. I can only assume Mitchell already has a deal in place somewhere and the acquiring team does not want to raise "pre-UFA" tampering concerns.
The fact your not hearing anything of him making the rounds, has me thinking he may be staying put in KC.I think Mitchell was looking to go to the lions but that may be falling apart ...I bet he returns to KC. He definitely wants lots of money though ...

Its on the KC boards but I do not have any official confirmation ...I've been on the Saint's boards and have not heard that yet.
Man, throw a dart. UFA is soooo much different today than it was just five years ago.I would have to assume the possible suitors are DET, CAR, NYG, TEN, PHI and NO......and KC.So weird...I just jumped into the IDP section to post the same.Fletcher has already signed. Where isn't he headed may be easier. It isn't Green Bay.So weird...I just jumped into the IDP section to post the same.Fletcher has already signed. Nap Harris is visiting KC. I own Mitchell, too. It's getting a little frustrating since I haven't heard of him visiting any specific team. I thought it was Detroit but they apparently named Lehman the starter in the middle. Sims is set at weak-side. Mitchell would be useless on the strong-side of a Cover-2 defense but it doesn't matter anyway since Bailey and Lewis are set to fight it out on that side.YepYour not an owner of him are you?I hope notThey are considering re-signing him and moving him outside ...Chiefs | Team agrees to terms with Harris

I'm really hopin he'll end up Detroit or New Orleans, doubt it will be NO with Simmons inked.

Kawika could do well on the Will in KC (or anywhere), but he doesn't seem a good fit as a SLB.I own Mitchell, too. I saw Kawika Mitchell the other morning . . .By Mike Wilkening - Pro Football Weekly
Kawika Mitchell, LB, Chiefs
Perhaps no player elicited a wider range of opinion when I was seeking information about the 2007 free-agent class. Some scouts like him; other evaluators believe he is overrated. The Chiefs have moved on without him, signing Napoleon Harris to play middle linebacker and Donnie Edwards to play the weak side.
