***KC Chiefs(9-4) at LA Chargers(8-5)*** AFC West Showdown on Thursday Night Football (1 Viewer)

Chiefs are -3 and the O/U 52 at the moment in Vegas, that's up from 49. 

Lot of potential points in this one, who do you trust and who do you not trust? 

Any chance the Defenses slow down Mahomes and TK-1.06? 

24-21 Bolts win and make it a race the last 3 weeks? Chiefs obliterated the Raiders last week, can't see them blowing out the Bolts in similar fashion. 

 
Here's another playoff like game like Monday night was. No Chris Jones, no Slater somewhat offsetting. Chargers won the game earlier this year, but KC is playing way better now. Should be tight, and I would fade the 52 maybe. KC 24-20 or something like that.

24-21 either way which is reflective in the line, the Chiefs Defense has been coming on like a freight train. 

Is Ekeler absolutely 100% Go tonight? I heard he was nursing an injury but I also would not ant him practicing ahead of a TNF game this late into the season with the Division up for grabs still.  

 
Chargers win this and I don't think it's particularly close.  

Chris Jones likely out. Willie Gay (LB) out. Sneed (CB) out. 

A starter at each level of the defense is out. This defense is completely different without Jones in there. We will see lots of Niemann and Sorenson tonight, and that is disaster for the Chiefs.  This is gonna be ugly I'm afraid.

I've yet to see you take the Chiefs, love the double reverse, I do it with the Phins but you're 9-4 for a reason. You give sound reasoning I want to add but I think this will be a very close football game. 

 
Chargers defense can be exploited. I think the Chiefs win this by running the ball and dinks and dunks down the field by Mahomes.

Thinking it will be a surprisingly lower scoring game. 24-17 Chiefs.

I'm just not sold on them. Mahomes is not right this year. I don't think anything is really fixed on offense, and a huge part of the defense resurgance is Jones going back inside. We will see - I just try and see this from a realistic slant.

I'm actually shocked they have won 6 in a row. But their opponents have something to do with that. The Chargers and the way they are playing is a different animal. And they ALWAYS play the Chiefs tough.

Us fans here in KC have been SCREAMING for the Chief to dink and dunk their way down the field all year. They will do it for a drive and then they just go back to this uber-aggresive attitude.

Reid and Mahomes HAVE to keep that mentality up - at least for this year. The book is out on this offense and the Chiefs are too stubborn to combat it for an entire game.

Yeah Sneed and Gay out too is not good news for KC, hmm.

I'm taking KC and the over. But not for serious business. So that way I'm not to blame for anything.

 
CEH will have a big game. Patrick will scramble for a few first downs. Kelce will catch a lot of short passes over the middle. Call it dink and dunk if you like. Spags will scheme just enough trouble for Justin. Eckler is hobbled,his backups aren't even close to what he can do when healthy. It'ss be close,K.C. will score late to cover,so.....

Chiefs- 30

Chargers- 23

 
This is the game of the week for me.  Two of the best QBs in the league... I almost feel this is one of those early Brees vs Manning vs Brady games.  Regardless, it's going to be entertaining and this is how every playoff week in fantasy football should start.  

 
Rooting for T Hill in one league, playing against him in another.

Rooting for T Kelce in one league. Dude is overdue.

Rooting for M Williams so far he's on my BN, starting H Renrow as of 7:30 p.m. for the last WR spot. Tough call as Williams went off against KC in week 3 for over 100 and 2 TD's.

Rooting For Butker in one league, playing against him in another.

I'm in agreement I see a lower scoring game but... @ChiefD has given i feel sound reasoning and he also brought up Jones and a couple others OUT tonight, maybe the Bolts do win but I still think it would be hard fought and maybe lower scoring...

-But if the KC Defense can't stop them, you're talking 38-24 here, 45-27, it could be a high number before its all done. 

-But the Bolts have had some on and off again injury concerns with Ekeler this week, Allen fresh off Covid, lot of moving parts tonight. 

 
KC marches on 56-35. Mahomes throws for 350 and 6TDs, Hill has 150 total yards and three scores. CEH runs for 80 and catches 4 passes for 40 yards and 2 total TDS.

FYI - the Grandson is a huge KC fan and has all three going tonight.

 
One of my fears is that with all the defense out Mahomes is going to feel like he has to go out and win the game himself.

If that happens this is a blowout because he will throw 3 or 4 picks. Its just not in his DNA to be patient. It won us a super bowl, but it may be his only one if he doesn’t learn to take what the defense gives him.

 
Still like the Bolts +3 tonight at Home, maybe we get a 21-20, 22-21, just seems like a good team getting points at home in a primetime game with a QB that seems to get better with each game, my money is on the Bolts tonight but this is a very close game on paper me thinks.

Got Bolts +3.5 and the game U 54 

 
I've got Ekeler and Derwin James.  I'm playing Jared Cook.

In a league I care less about I'm playing Mahomes.

Need a drink.

Mahomes had that game where he targeted Hill on 18 passes almost all short. Then he finally started getting Kelce more involved. And one or more of the other wrs or rbs are getting more involved.  I think Reid and Mahomes have a new formula which is working.
