***KC Chiefs at Denver +8.5 (45.5)*** Game Thread (1 Viewer)

I believe the jury is out on Lock at this point, but the ownership issue needs to be solved and I think Elway needs to step down.
I know Lock is still young and only has a handful or so of NFL starts under his belt, but he has no pocket presence, and that strikes me as one of those things that cannot be taught. You either have it or you don't.  And he doesn't have it.

Brett Rypien is a better QB than Lock. Rypien looks like a career backup. Lock has a big arm, though so here we are.

I'll say this and I know Denver fans don't want to hear it. He has a helluva lot more pocket awareness than Daniel Jones.

Lock misses an open Gordon on 3rd and 5, and then throws it short of the sticks on 4th down and they turn it over on downs. Way to go.

2 Fumbles by Gordon, you wondered how his head was coming into the game, how could you ever start Gordon with any confidence the rest of the season?

he should be a free agent in the real nfl after this game
1st he's out drinking when he should be focused on his NFL career but he doesn't care for whatever the reasons

Next he decides to not only drink but also use his impaired decision making abilities to climb behind the wheel of a car.

Then after his arrest, he ends up coming down with at least a cold or flu and perhaps something worse

He ends up being benched for most of the game and then when he gets a coupe touches he turns the ball over

The other RB taking touches form him is injured and cannot return to the football game

He fumbles again even though he is left as last man standing basically and still cannot help his team out.

When supposedly elite players don’t get justifiably paid there’s often more to the story than what gets out initially. Sometimes it eventually surfaces in some way or another.
