Keeping kids occupied (and off their devices) over the winter break (1 Viewer)

Morning,

Im off all week and looking for ideas to keep my girls (11 & 13) busy and more importantly, off their phones.

Thinking about taking them to see Jumanji tomorrow and maybe hit one of the museums in DC but that's about all I got. Its supposed to be in the teens here so outside events or parks are likely out.

Any ideas?

Board games?  we got Otrio for Christmas and my 10 & 8 year old like playing it.

Make them do the dishes?

i'm trying to have them read for 30 minutes for every hour they're on electronics.   there's usually a sizable transition period from going from electronics to reading where they find something else to do before finally giving in to reading so that adds to the time off from the electronics.

11 & 13?   Just hide the phones for a few days while they are sleeping.  Say you took them in for routine maintenance and updates and it takes a couple of days because they are really busy right now.

Temps in the teens? Outside activities are out? I wish I t was in the teens here.
