Ian Eagle on #FantasyFootball Today: "Britt practiced, told us he'll play between 15-25 plays on 3rd down & red zone." Still focused on knee

I'm starting him...like that they'll be focusing on getting him into the game in the red zone. My other options were Blackmon and DHB though so it's not like I'm taking some giant leap of faith

I'm sitting him behind Bowe & Marshall this week, but after that I'll be looking to either get him in or trade him, if he shows that he's back.

Have to see the practice reports this week. I'm guessing he will be limited today. And if things look good today they will let him practice full by end of week.

“Kenny got through pretty well for playing about 19 plays, which is what we talked about him doing, so that worked out decent there.

“It’s just a matter of – I’m sure he’s sore – (but) having another good week of practice, so he can start running more routes and doing different things that maybe he couldn’t do this weekend. So hopefully he’ll continue to add to that number as we go.”

No limitations for Britt this week:

According to the Tennessean, Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt will not be limited to a certain number of plays Week 3 against the Lions. Britt, who is working his way back from a torn ACL, played just 19 snaps in his season debut Week 2 at the Chargers, catching one pass for 5 yards. “It felt good out there," Britt said. "I was happy not to have any setbacks.” Coach Mike Munchak said Monday that Britt would run more routes in practice this week in anticipation of a bigger workload. The Lions have fared well against the pass so far this year, rank sixth in yards allowed.

(Updated 09/19/2012)

Coach Mike Munchak said on Wednesday that Kenny Britt should play a lot more this week.

Munchak said earlier that he wanted to see Britt practice well before giving him increased playing time. This report suggests he may have seen just that in Wednesday's practice. It's still too early to fully endorse Britt as a fantasy option, but things are moving in the right direction. Source: Jim Wyatt on Twitter

I have Britt on 3-4 teams. I am sitting him until he produces in a game. Either with catches or targets.

Not worth the risk of 1 catch for 5 yds.

Looking for an update here if anyone has anything

Rotoworld:

Kenny Britt: Britt 'a little sore,' likely to play Sunday

Kenny Britt - WR - TEN - Sep. 24 - 4:40 pm et

Kenny Britt (ankle) is a "little sore," but expected to be ready for Sunday's game with the Texans.

Coach Mike Munchak conceded Britt could miss some practice time, but he'll be ready to go for Week 4, barring a setback. Britt played 37 snaps Sunday after seeing just 19 in his Week 2 debut. He looked near full health, snagging six passes for 55 yards. Britt's arrow is pointing upward. Sep. 24 - 4:40 pm et

Don't have anything specific, but Munchak said a week ago that while they thought Britt wouldn't be limited in practice and he would play more snaps, they were limiting his routes. I took that to mean they are still a bit cautious about how strong the rebuilt ACL/MCL is at this point. He was effective last week but not anywhere near the explosive force he can be when he is 100%. With respect to the ankle soreness, I haven't found any official reports, so I am presuming it is not serious, not the dreaded high ankle that lingers, and he should recover. What I am more interested in is if they expand his routes this week and next to include a fuller package.

11 targets on Sunday and a lot of people are expecting one of those Britt "blow-ups" coming soon...just might not be this week vs. Joseph and the Texans...

Britt said a D-lineman rolled up on it, didn't need a boot afterwards, not sensitive to the touch, just couldn't push off hard in OT so he didn't go back out. Seems minor, Munchak called it such.
