Kentucky vs Louisville (1 Viewer)

Can Louisville's press disrupt Kentucky's rhythm as Seth Greenberg suggested they have to be able to do? No doubt Louisville can affect Ky's offense, they are a great defensive team in their own right, but I don't believe they can score enough points on Ky. They are only shooting 29% from 3 point land and a team must be able to hit the 3 in order to beat Kentucky. A tall order indeed (pun intended) and I expect Ky to guard the 3 well tomorrow. It's probably going to be a low scoring game, much like Ky vs Texas. If the Cats beat the Cards, they probably run the table leading up to the tournament.

Rooting for Pitino or Calipari- there are no winners here. Just joking, hoping this is a great game. Saw Kentucky smoke UCLA last week, the team looks ridiculous. Didn't look fair really, the starting 5 are massive then they brought in 4 more guys who were just as big.

I don't think Kentucky is unbeatable - running the table with the amount of talent in today's NCAA is going to be extremely difficult. Last year they had a few WTF losses on the road in the SEC. Their offense at times doesn't impress me (i.e. v Columbia, v Buffalo) - two teams they should have wiped the floor with from start to finish.

Kentucky is still 13th in the nation holding opposing team's to 27.0% from 3pt. On paper, it does seem like Kentucky's def doesn't have many holes. But agree the team that has the best chance of beating them will probably be extremely hot from the perimeter. Even if Louisville doesn't shoot well from outside tomorrow, they still have a good enough defense to win a really ugly game like 55-52.

Can't wait, it will be like March in December.

This game should come down to FT's. Kentucky by 6. Refs will determine the game. Sad but true. Louisville can beat us. If the hit their 3's. If they don't it could get ugly for Louisville.

If Louisville's defense stifles Ky it will be a close game, no more than 10 points. I can definitely see a game from Ky where there is a lid on the basket as long as the Cards make them chuck it from the cheap seats, but that will be tough to do because Ky is a great offensive rebounding team. Louisville ranks near the top in defensive rebounding, so this will be interesting.

I'll tell you what. Why don't we take all these bricks and build a shelter for the homeless, so maybe your mother will have a place to stay
