Kerry Rhodes (1 Viewer)

As I have Rhodes on my team I was pleased with his tackle output last week but still haven't seen him come through with the big sack or INT. I was also glad to see his FBG ranking this week, but just curious as to why the expectations are so high this week. Is this the week Rhodes gets to Kerry Collins or will he just spend all day taking down Chris Johnson 8 yards past the line of scrimmage?

I thought he had a good match-up too. This is concerning. Luckily, I have Lofton and Ruud racking up enough points to carry my team this week!

He played, saw him whiff on a tackle in the 4th quarter and had a part in breaking up a pass play as well. Thought he'd get at least a pass defensed for that play but I'm still seeing 0 for Rhodes. With some decent guys on the waiver wire, Rhodes has one more week to show up or he may be going away from roster.

:excited:

AS I SAID BEFORE, NORTON (I THINK) HAS HAD A LOVE AFFAIR WITH RHODES SINCE 2006.

See post #7.
I realize Rhodes is inconsistent, or at least has been since his rookie year, but I thought Rex Ryan's defensive scheme might at least make him a big play guy to couple with some fairly good tackle numbers. So far we've had two dud weeks and one fairly good one. Roman Harper.....meet the starting lineup, Kerry Rhodes meet the bench.....maybe the waiver wire.

Kerry Rhodes 0!!!!!!!!!

Ok, not doing great is one thing but 0??????!!!!!!!!

I hate you Kerry, I lost because of you this week!

Jets played him very deep and the Titans didn't really take any shots downfield or break any big plays into the secondary.

Jim Leonhard was the safety playing up near the line of scrimmage and getting some chances to blitz.

it also looked to me like the Jets played a lot of a big nickel package with 3 DL, 3 LB, and 5 DBs including 3 safeties.

but Rhodes was basically playing centerfield and the Titans never really tried to force anything. when they took some shots downfield it was always to the outside and he wasn't really involved.

EDIT: he did whiff pretty badly on a big run by Chris Johnson in the 4th quarter, but he slowed him down enough for Vernon Gholston to make the tackle.

I looked and looked but do not see where they give me credit for that in the scoring, it still has a 0 next to Kerry's name. :-)

In Norton's scoring, a whiff is worth 10 points.

There WAS one play that Rhodes clearly should have goten a PD on. He got his hand on the ball and knocked it away near the sidelines. I'm gonna stick with him one more week against NO. I don't know what is up with the Jets official scorer, this guy misses a lot.
