Just found this under Curtis's info in my ESPN league:

Coach Scott Linehan indicated that Curtis (chest and abdomen bruise) probably won't be used as a kick returner this week, the St. Louis Post Dispatch writes.

The fact that he mentions "this week" gives me hope going forward, however.

Free agent Kevin Curtis left Minnesota without a contract.

The signing of Drew Bennett guarantees Curtis won't be back with St. Louis, not that there was a chance of him returning in the first place. Curtis will visit with the Lions and old coach Mike Martz on Saturday.
